Can Someone Help Me Find Information On My Great Grandmother

Can someone help me find a grave site for my Grandmother?

The same question was asked and answered a while back but the name given was Pearl Ellen Pierce.
My suggestion is to try the following:
1. Find a Grave is a good site.
2. Request a copy of her death certificate the cemetery will be listed on it.
3. Check the county where the family lived at the time.
4. Try Roots web (it is free)
5. Try Familysearch.org (it is free)
6. Check with the Genealogy Society in the county, they are usually helpful for a small fee.

Most of the free sites want your to register, which is a membership, but there is no charge and with the registration you have access to all areas of the site.

Genealogical research is sometimes going in circles for many years and not seeing the obvious, and then one day it is there where it has always been, but you are able to see it. Don't over look the obvious sometimes the simple answer is the one you over look.

I am trying to find out if my great grandmother was Jewish.?

I have recently found my grandmother's birthcertficate which states that her mother's first name was Sabra which I had never heard of before. I have since researched some of this branch of my family and have found that she had a brother called Esau and also her mother's name was Sarah Robinson. Having looked up the origins of these names Sabra appears to be Hebrew for someone born in Israel and Robinson is anglised Rubinstein or Rabbi. This is all very new to me as my grandmother never discussed her family or her mother. I think Sabra died when my grand mother was only three. Unfortunately my grandmother died several years ago and my father (her son) was always very secretive when asked about his mother's family and always refused to look into his maternal family's history.

I would appreciate any help as I am finding it difficult to find out anymore information about this.

Census record for my great grandmother?

My grandmothers name was Evelyn Gertrude Galliher, born roughly 1904. If someone could get me census records from 1910 or 1920, that'd be wonderful. I have seen the 1930 census record on my great grandfather, her husband, Ralph Shores.I know that at the time of the 1930 census, she was 26 years old living in Norfolk County, Mass. I think that she was born somewhere in New York state, but both of her parents were born in Mass. I think she died sometime in the mid 60's, perhaps very early 70's. Thank you so much. With my family, information is scarce and I have no access to libraries up in Massachusetts, as I live near Philadelphia. Also, information passed down from my mother hasn't been very abundant.

I'm curious because there are signs and rumors that there was Mohawk Native American in our blood?

Thank you to anyone who helps. I will award a best answer. :D Thank you.

When my great grandmother died, I believe that she left me a large sum of money and my Nan has kept it all for herself. Should I sue?

Maybe your Nan simply felt like spending some money on you if she inherited some. In most cases, parents leave money to their children, not to their great grandchildren. It could well be you are simply judging a very nice woman harshly. So before you make some accusations, you might want to be sure of what is going on.At any rate, being suspicious is a terrible reason to sue someone. You need to confirm your suspicions. What you need to do is look at the will, assuming there was one. Wills are public record once they are submitted for probate. Call a law firm, pay a bit of money, and ask it to find out for you. Keep in mind, unless your Nan was executor of the estate, she would have no way of keeping the information from you, since the executor would have communicated with you, or, if you are under age, your parents.

What similarities do Rafaela and Esperanza's great-grandmother share? ?

I am having the same type of trouble, but I think you should go back and look in the vignette "My Name" to see how Esperanza's grandmother is, and then compare to Rafaela.

Also I found this website that had character descriptions and this helped me http://www.bookrags.com/notes/hms/CHR.htm try it out. Oh and by the way you do go to IQ Academy right? Let me know if you need any other help.
