Can Someone Invite Me To Den Of Angels

DEN OF ANGEL forum abused of members, do you think can have back my topic?

Look, I'm not crazy about the tight reigns they keep on the forum, but I do understand. There 11,000 people on that forum and in the Market Place a VERY LARGE amount of money changes hands. That means that emotions can run really high.

Yes, I agree they should have warned you, but they run on volunteers and there are just not enough free bodies around to give that kind of service.

I don't think your topic can be put back; it's really gone. But here's a bit of advice for next time; once you've formatted your thread to the level you like it, go to edit mode one more time and just copy the raw formatting and paste it into a text file (in notepad or something). That way you have a back up and you can easily start a new one.

The reason they deleted your thread was because you were in a section of the MP that only allows you to sell items you ACTUALLY PHYSICALLY own, not stuff that you can make to order; there is another location in the MP for that.

Here's another piece of advice: open an etsy store and put your stuff there. And then put a link to the store in your sig. And then go enjoy the community on DoA and by posting socially your sig will be seen by people. This is 100% within the rules of DoA, as long as you don't talk about selling your stuff in your posts. PM me if you need help with this.

Den of Angels Invite?

Hello, I have been into BJDs for a while now but every time I go on the DoA site it says 'registration is invitation only'. I would like to get more information about companies, mods, meetups and make friends that are into the hobby, especially now that I have my first doll on the way (a DC Cyril)! I do have an account on Dairy Land but it doesn't seem to have too much activity or information, though it is a great site.

Is there anyone that could send me an invitation to DoA? If so that would be awesome :> My e-mail is turayreoni@yahoo.com
(I looked at the rules on DoA's site and didn't find anything saying you can't ask for an invitation...but if this against the rules please let me know!!)

How should one seek angel investment for a startup?

Despite all of the stories you read on the blogs, and the conventional wisdom you might hear in startup circles, the cold, hard fact is that you are highly, highly unlikely to find angel investors willing to fund your 'sketched out' ideas to help you build a prototype.  It has become increasingly easy to get through the prototype stage for very little money, and therefore the bar these days is set much higher than simply a business plan or a 'fully sketched out idea'. Statistics show that fewer than 2.5% of entrepreneurs seeking funding from angels actually get it, so therefore you are competing for an investment with other startups that are coming to the same table with existing prototypes, finished products, or even fully operating companies, which makes them (in the eyes of investors) a somewhat safer investment for the same high potential return than your concept-only company. To give you just one example, a couple of years ago New York Angels funded $500,000 into Pond5.com. It is a site that brings together producers and consumers of royalty-free, video stock footage. When we invested, the company had a full management team (tech, sales, product/business), a completed product that was better than any competitor's, and was already generating revenue. The total amount of cash that it had taken them to get to that point? Less than $20,000.  Today, with no further investment, the company is profitable, is on a hockey-stick growth curve, and is the world's largest royalty-free stock media marketplace.I would therefore strongly suggest that the best thing you can do to get yourself funded is to get started building your company, any way you can. If you can bootstrap it from revenues, superb! If you can get team members to join you for equity, wonderful. If you can fund it out of your pocket, do so. If you have to go to friends and family, and can convince them to back you, go for it. But the harsh realities are that the odds are strongly against you being able to get angel funding at this stage. That being said, if you still think you are the exception and might have a chance at angel funding, you can certainly test the theory. Go to https://gust.com/find-investors and use the free search engine to find one or more angel groups in your area (either physically or industry). You can then apply to them for funding, and see what they say. Best case, you'll be invited in to pitch; otherwise, at least you'll get some feedback.

What is the meaning of the Joker's question "Did you ever dance with the devil in the pale moonlight?"?

"Did you ever dance with the devil in the pale moonlight?"That’s a very poetic way to put it. But I don’t think that the others who have answered the question quite do justice to this quote. The Joker is basically asking Bruce if he’s ever tangled with fate. If he’s ever experienced real grief. He asked that question for many reasons. First and foremost, he asked because Bruce was calling him out. In that scene, Bruce Wayne was basiclly telling the Joker that he was crazy. A loose screw with a weak mind, that was driven insane by his own horrific actions. The Joker retorted with the above question, in essence telling him, “How would you know anything about it? Have you ever experienced serious pain like I have?”.However, Napier also asks that question because he is desperately searching. Searching for someone like him. Someone he can just push over the edge, so that they can turn crazy like he is. Or someone that is already over the edge. Of course, whether he actually expects to find someone is debatable, but that is not enough to stop the Joker. If you rewatch this scene from the movie you’ll notice that immediately after asking this question, the Joker states that he asks that question to all his prey. Knowing the Joker, I can tell that that’s not a lie. He most likely does ask it to all his prey (or at least quite a few of them). He asks because he’s trying to draw parallels between himself and them. He’s asking because he knows that, if they’ve truly danced with the devil, then they would have changed radically- just like he did. Just as Bruce changed radically after seeing his parents die. That was his dance with the devil. In many ways, Jack Nicholson’s Joker was very similar to the Joker from the graphic novel: The Killing Joke.In this book, The Joker is also trying to prove that anyone can fall over the edge. All it takes is “One bad day”. In other words, one dance with the devil. The book came out only a matter of months before the movie did, and it was a smash hit. Is it any surprise they are so similar?

Is lingerie acceptable for a Halloween costume for a woman?

I'm thinking of wearing this to a Halloween party at a local club. Is it too skanky? I just don't want to buy any costume around my town because I know half the gals there will be dressed like me.

Is this acceptable or too skanky? What do you think?

How can I become a club member of Hell”s Angels Motorcycle Club?

First you NEED to think about this:; There has BEVER been and NEVER will be a female member of ANY one percenter club, Hell’s Angels included. Presuming I incorrectly read your name wrong and you actually are a guy. First you must be invited to be a hang around by a full patched member. Plan on being the lowest form of life in existence at ALL club functions for possibly YEARS before being offered the chance to become a prospect. Thought being a hang around was tough,as a prospect you will be required to do ANYTHING a member asks of you[as in 24/7]. you will be the first one there at all club functions[where ever it may be] and always the last one to leave. IF you ae so lucky as to be accepted by every member , in as few as a couple of years, you MIGHT be voted into the club which not only places a bullseye on your back, but the club becomes your life-100% of he time. Oh,yes, NEVER forget the club motto: “Two can keep a secret if one of them is DEAD”. Your beloved motorcycle? As a prospect, it becomes club property. From generally mid February through the end of the year, you will begone on some kind of run every weekend, plus any special function as determined to be”important”j Job or no job, you WILL be on every run, Much better to ride free.

If a genie grants you three wishes, what do you intend to wish for?

Oh, this is so EASY.1: The ability to teleport. No more paying for gas, or being late to class because I overslept. Instantaneous transportation through space to anywhere I want. There’d need to be rules of course- I wouldn’t want to sneeze and end up in a wall, but you get the idea. I’d also want to to be like Jumper- no puff, no light. Just me there one second and gone the next.2: The ability to manifest anything I so choseYou know James Patterson’s Daniel X? Yeah, it’d be something like that, but more powerful. I’d basically be a god…Hm, I think I want to drive a Lamborghini Aventador to school today, just to show off…because you know, I can teleport now. Oh, I don’t have a Lambo? *POOF*, I do now! Hungry? Let me just imagine this burger real quick…bang, instant Five Guys burger in my hand. I would be able to do pretty much anything. The best part is, it wouldn’t be me manifesting illusions, they’d be real, tangible things (or concepts, who knows? Maybe I’ll imagine world peace) that existed for as long as i wanted them to. Plus, this ability essentially removes the need for me to have more than three wishes because after this, anything i want, I make myself.3: GiftingSo…I’m basically a god at this point, right? What else would there be for me to wish for? How about if my friends and family could receive a portion of my awesome power for a bit? Struggling in math? Manifest yo’self a crazy high IQ and get valedictorian. Can’t open that jar? Enjoy your new super strength for a day or two! Of course this power is assuming that i couldn’t do all this just by imagining my friends and family with these abilities…but hey, you did ask for three things.

Can anyone tell me what the Broncos fans chant at Mile High Stadium when the Broncos are on defense?

To me, it sounds like "LET'S-GO-D!"... but I'm not completely sure because I've never been there. I'm going by what it sounds like on TV.

What should one do to get funding for a gaming startup if you have around 10k users per day and generate over $1.5k -2k per month in revenue?

Angel investors are individuals who are keen to invest in ideas that they believe will eventually become profitable. A popular example of a group of Angel Investors is the panel on Dragons' Den.Look at what kind of game you are looking to make, and find appropriate angel investors based on that information. An angel that invests heavily in construction projects probably won't be interested in giving you money for your mobile game. Once you've found the right people, do your research on their background and why they might be interested in your game in particular.Directories of angel investors can be found online, and there are also groups and agencies dedicated to matching creators with angel investors.___________________also apply to:http://www.gamefounders.com/prof...
