If someone steals my card numbers to purchase something online, could I find out where they ship whatever they ordered too, or would I only be able to find out the amount they spent?
On your statement would be the phone number to call the supplier of said shipment. Call and tell them you think you may have screwed up the address and they may tell you the address where shipment was sent. Tell them the proper address it should have gone to , if it has not been shipped, change it or cancel the order for whatever reason. Right away contact the credit card company and cancel the card so it can't be used again. They will send you a new one with different numbers in about a week. Tell the card company of the fraudulent use and they may remove it from the statement and you wont have to pay it. You're not liable for the unauthorized use. The numbers were stolen, same as losing the card or it was stolen. ALWAYS report it immediately.
Can someone purchase something with just your credit card number and no credit card?
hi i was just recently the victim of credit card theft however no one actually stole my credit card just my credit card number. i was wondering if someone could buy something at a store with just the card number and no physical card.I know the thief bought the goods at a store because my statement shows it was at a physical address not a site but i didn't think you could buy stuff with just a number. is it possible that he made his own card?

you can not legally purchace telephone numbers because the numbers belong to the telephone company.... if your competitor has not yet disconnected his line you need to discuss taking over his line with him.... you can (pay him something) take over his number, and have the phone company switch the billing into your name, then have them either install that number at your location (if you are within the same central office) and have it added to your hunt group... or just have the phone company make this number forward to an existing line.... if he has already disconnected service, it is highly unlikely that you will be able to obtain this number... the phone company normally holds numbers for a certain period of time before reissuing them... (can be as short as a few months, to as long as a few years)....

Online transaction is a new thing in India. Reserve Bank of India is following a policy of better be safe than sorry till people fully understand what they are doing. They don't want people to lose money in their accounts to online frauds. Now it is mandatory to have 2 Factor Authentication (2FA) for online transactions where cards are not required to be physically present. Such transactions are required to be authenticated through an OTP sent to cell phone or an account password. Eg. Verified by Visa, 3D Secure.Google doesn't support 2FA. Because of this you can't use any debit cards issued in India for payment in Google play. And Uber for that matter doesn't even support any credit cards in India. Fortunately credit cards work with Google play.

I try not to post my phone number on the Internet as it can be used for several purposes I don't want it to be used.Once you post your phone online, you can stat receiving all kinds of spam messages and calls from people urging you to try/purchase something.Your phone number can be used by scammers.Your phone number is your personal information. You are not likely to share your credit card number or home address with people you don't know, so what is the reason for letting them know your personal phone number?

Sim card can not be hacked, It could be posible that your phone calles are forwarded on any other number so that when somebody call you that call goes direct to the number on which you phone calls are forwarded.You can check it In your phone setting > call seting> forward status . If your calls are forwarded than their will be a number on which calls are forwarded , if it show no call forwarding then No.Mobile Phone can not be hacked so easily by a normal person. If somebody install any app in your phone that collects data from your phone and send it to the hacker, then ir could be possible.To check this go in your phone setting> apps > installed apps . Check here all installed apps, if you see any app that you didn't installed or you dont know, unisnatll that app. Yo can also safe your phone by downloading a good antivirus in your phone like avira and scan with it. I use the debit card number on my card to access my bank account online, but I also need a 7 digit PIN that is different from the 4 digit PIN I use when making a purchase or getting cash from an ATM.There is no reason, that I can think of, to give anyone your debit card number, since you need the card to make a transaction.
