Can Ted Baker Bags Be Repaired

Is the Fossil brand better than the Ted Baker brand for watches?

I partially agree with the answers so far. Yes, Fossil and Ted Baker are fashion watches. Yes, you don’t get a good bang per buck, meaning that with the same amount of money you can get a much better watch from Seiko, Casio, Citizen, or Timex (but not limited to these).I have no experience with Ted baker…. only some marginal experience with Fossil, meaning that I know lots of people who have Fossil watches for some time now, and they’re still working properly (the watches, I mean… the people, well, they’re people). Well, I don’t keep track exactly, but most of the people I know that own Fossil watches, have them for 3…4 years and are still working fine.As for repairing the watch, my guess is that, worst case, the whole movement can be replaced. A quartz movement can be bought for as little as 10Euros, depending on the movement type… I have no idea how much a watchmaker would charge for a movement replacement, but, should it be the case, the watch should be repairable, in my point of view…I understand, from some points of view, the hate the fashion watches get, but on the other hand, feel free to buy what ever you like. Even the cheapest Miyota movements like the Miyota 2035 (that costs about 3 USD) are reliable and can work properly for many years… If you take good care of a watch, even the cheapest watch, will last quite some time. Not everybody has horology as a hobby or is passionate about watches, so, feel free to choose according to your liking. You could take the collective advice and look towards other brands, or just go with the flow.My father has a cheap, Q&Q watch that he wears every day… It had a gold finish originally, that is almost completely scratched away now after some 5 years. The watch still works and keeps time very well!Even more, if you take the watch to a watchmaker for the necessary battery changes, while he changes the battery can also inspect the watch for water damage, lubricate the gaskets if needed, and so on. So, you get extra service even if you pay more for a battery change when it’s done by a professional, and you get to enjoy your watch for a longer time.

Is a shirt or a pair of shoes for 100$ or more worth it?

I remember buying the first pair of shoes I paid over £100 for. I was 24 and had just been paid from my first job in London. This was my first job that paid me enough to not need a second income. Even with that I prevaricated for hours on buying these shoes. They were fantastic, but so expensive. I actually felt slightly sick paying for them as they were easily 4 times what I’d paid for any shoes previously.I still have them, and I still wear them, 14 years later. That £100 or so turned out to be a very good investment. That doesn’t mean that all expensive shoes are a good buy however. I’ve seen all kinds of expensive rubbish from the big fashion labels, but get yourself shoes made by hand, by a chap sat a bench in Northampton and they’ll last you decades, with occasional re-soling.This is also true with trainers/sneakers. I have an expensive pair of Ralph Lauren trainers which I now just wear to work out. They wore so badly that they looked terrible after just a few weeks. Contrast that to my similarly priced Common Projects which barely look broken in after 3 years.Shirts are a different matter. Most of the shirts I wear now are around £50, with alterations my other half does for me. If I had to pay for these it’d probably push the price up by £10 or so. I have shirts costing many times that, made just for me in London and Zurich. These are fantastic shirts, but the increase in quality is not the same for the increase in price. The fit is much better, but again, not enough for me to justify the increase.I tend to pay for quality where it matters, which for me is with shoes, suits, ties, knitwear, trousers and denim. Shirts and underwear I pay less for, because I can get acceptable quality at a much lower price.Just remember that a high price doesn’t guarantee quality, but that very cheap things are invariably poorly made.

Why does Donald Trump have orange skin?

Question: Seriously, why does Donald Trump have an orange complexion? For reasons known only to him and the few people with whom he might care to share his grooming secrets, Donald Trump uses a variety of spray-on tanning products to make him appear to be “tanned”, when they unfortunately make him appear to be orange. For reasons again only known to Trump, he continues to use these products even though it’s clear that he’s not tanning and that it’s been viewed as a source of humor when discussing him.The fact that it is a tanning spray (for those who might “dispute” the fact) is best seen by looking at the areas around his eyes and often on his neck. The tanning sprays leaves “raccoon eye patterns” where he wears protective goggles. And the spraying on his neck isn’t always “uniform” and you can see where lines in the creases of his skin have not receive an even “coating.”
