How Do I get into the Christmas Spirit?
Ok last year and this year I just couldn't get into the Christmas spirit. I live in Texas so I don't really get Cold. Any Suggestions on how I can get into the christmas spirit?

MY sister has lung cancer, at this time she is very weak, will need blood transfusion next week. No one in the family has even decorated their house or bought gifts. All we do is cry and pray.

What gets you in the Christmas spirit?
Christmas music, especially the religious ones. The reason is that a lot of Christmases have come and gone where I have not had enough money to give or do the things I want to do, so I have found joy in a simpler experience by thinking of that manger scene in Bethlehem. I can I identify with the humbleness and then I receive joy because of the deep meaning of what is happening. I can share that joy and love with others and it frees me from my money woes. I like all the Christmas songs, but when I am particularly down, the true meaning resonates and lifts me up and puts me in the Spirit. Merry Christmas!
