Can We Honestly Trust The Government I Heartd About A Person That Had Lost

Why is the trust of people reducing in BJP/Modi government?

Recent “Pakoda” (Indian fried snack, best enjoyed with Tea and Rain ) comment. Selling Pakodas is any day better than doing nothing or begging but does Government want people to sell Pakodas in the name of Entrepreneurship?Employment and the lack of it has been an issue for a while now. Even in Government jobs, which are most sought after in India, recruiting agencies are unable to handle the examinations. Many recent incidences suggest this. Covered in media extensively . This issue dented the image of Government a bit.Nothing much was announced for Middle Class in recently concluded budget 2018. So , murmurs have been started on that front.Petrol prices, anyway , are rising.Central Government employees don’t seem to be very happy with 7th CPC settlement. Pay raise was on the lower side.GST has a share of both happy and sad faces. So, some discontent here.Nothing much can be seen on ground. I believe things are changing and progress has been above average much progress is unbalanced. Roads have been improved a lot but same cannot be said about healthcare. Plus this issue has been amplified by Opposition and they have got some success. This Government performs better than previous ones but Bragging is at the highest level too. For eg: Nobody has got 15 lakh rupees in their bank accounts. Most recent, PNB scandal of 11400 crore rupees. The culprit is a different “Modi” , in no way he is in relation with NaMo but he was seen recently with our PM in Davos, Switzerland. More startling fact is that PMO knew about these unethical practices because of a letter sent by a whistleblower. So, this carelessness or whatever is costing this Government . The timing is also crucial as Karnataka + Tripura elections are due shortly. General elections are due for next year.Trust of people is waning and is on a low. I still think PM Modi is the best option we have as we have no other option.

Who honestly believes that government can solve society's problems?

The "Great Society" promised by L.B.J. was an expansion of the social programs enacted during the depression. The Idea that the government can create and manage a "program" to address each of societies problems is B.S. Medicare, Social Security, Welfare and the tax collection system enacted to finance these boondoggles has bankrupted our nation and driven us 9 TRILLION dollars in debt. The ONLY thing that our government is capable of doing is screwing the populace. If we could find a way to harness the energy, the rapid rotation of our founding fathers in their graves would solve the nations dependence on foreign oil.

Do you believe Lois Lerner's emails were lost honestly or dishonestly? Why?

When I first started to dig into the story I was convinced it was dishonest. However, as I learned more I changed my mind. Ultimately, it was neither honest nor dishonest. The IRS has a policy of not keeping important emails (aka "federal records") on electronic systems, even though doing so is inexpensive (magnetic tape is super cheap) and their current policy for maintaining federal records (ie dead trees) is woefully inadequate. This policy of deliberately limiting public access to federal records long predates the Lerner scandal so it's not dishonest in that they went back and deliberately destroyed emails once this story blew up. But their policy was *clearly* a CYA move. That being said, if Lois Lerner did delete federal records from the server without putting them in the "official records system" (a filing cabinet) then she is technically in violation of the Federal Records Act (as amended in 1995 to cover electronic records).

How do you regain someone's trust after lying?

my ex-bf told me I could talk to him when I regianed his touch. So no communication is allowed until then. I don't know what to do. I told him I realized my mistake that I'd rather not lie if it meant loosing him.

anyone have any ideas on how to gain it back or what to do?

Do you believe everything the government tells you because, well, they're the government!?

Are there some politicians you're more likely to believe than others?

Honestly, I'm pretty sure Dennis Kucinich isn't going around lying to people. He may honestly believe some wacky things, but I don't get the feeling he's maliciously lying.

DEBATE: is it right for government to ever restrict free speech?

It is NEVER right for the government to restrict freedom of speech. If we lose our right to speak out openly and honestly against our government or to stand up for a cause we believe in, we will lose our democracy because we will lose our ability to hold our elected officials accountable.

Do MBBS students have to study all the time? I have heard that medical college students have a lot of pressure, they barely complete their sleep.

Its a real misconception that MBBS people have to study all the time.I am a final year exam going student in KMC,Mangalore.I had one of my best days while in MBBS.I go to the gym regularly (Fitness is important!)This is me in final year MBBS.I went to the Netherlands from my college to present a paper recently and ended up going to Paris,Switzerland,Leiden and Germany all in final year.Last month we had a huge party in our college called 'Socials' although it was only 2 days we were planning it since 1 month. These are few pics of SOCIALSAfter this we went to Goa and Munnar too.And Diwali party afer that. Our usual Saturday night preparationsBTW I'm writing this sitting in the library which is underground so I won't be seeing today's sunset. ( Exams are up next week)My 1st 1k upvotes. Thank you :)EDIT 1: Many people are saying that I'm from a rich background so I have all these perks.Yes maybe my college fees is high but the quality of the education that I get is outstanding! Trust me when I say this! And I didn't pay a single penny to get admitted here (Through merit only).Furthermore,to get in here I left AIIMS (7 others),A college in UP (State Quota) and also another one in Maharashtra (NEET-UG) a copy of my Rank card :And I can sponsor my own needs as I run a business in Mangalore (Where my college is)So instead of complaining that people who aren't rich can't afford all the leisures life will give you, there are many opportunities, one should start recognising them.“To be able to sacrifice for what you are for what you'll become" -Eric ThomasAlso, start investing on your health rather than terrorising it with junk food and laziness, trust me it makes a huge difference.

Are Americans the most honest people in the world?

I found Americans most honest during the second half of Bill Clinton's reign. This is no sarcasm. Life had been good and secure and easy for a long time; many business transactions were done over the phone; you wouldn't believe how people kept their words like solid oak. I read an article in late 1990s saying that mafia-like criminal organizations almost disappeared from American streets because good jobs were plentiful; this was also confirmed by my personal experience — I walked on any streets I liked and was never robbed or even inconvenienced. Things changed a good deal towards the end of last recession, and some Americans began to show their human side: your phone company nickelled and dimed you; it took me more than an hour and many transfers to disconnect an ISP; some big name banks secretly charged me fees like thieves. It was a  time when everyone was short on cash, including the ones who were supposed to supply it.If you think I'm campaigning for a certain Democrat, you are wrong; I go for the one who can bring jobs back to the US and the one who is obnoxious and the least virtuous. The more corrupt they are, the less you trust them; the less you trust the government, the less likely they will stomp all over you.
