PS3 fan doesn't work anymore. Can I change it myself?
I installed another HDD on my ps3. It only freezes up when I'm playing a game, if I watch a movie then it runs smoothly. I don't have it on carpet and it is well ventilated. I can't hear the fan anymore, so I assume that's what's wrong with my PS3. Any ideas or suggestions? Thanks in advance.
No audio when watching saved movies on ps3 hard drive, game audio is fine?
I just bought a new tv and i am using an existing receiver surround sound. Nothing has changed with the receiver and nothing has changed as far as running ps3 threw it. But today when i play games i have perfect sound and picture, but when i try to watch a movie even ones that have been on ps3 hard drive for awhile that i know for a fact have played perfectly with sound and picture in the past. All i get is picture with no sound. why do i have sound with games but no sound when watching video from hard drive? My connection is ps3 to audio receiver with hdmi, then from audio receiver to tv with hdmi. this set up has worked for me since i got it 6 months ago with no problems until today.

Will i lose my warrenty if i format my external hard drive?
I bought a seagate 1tb external hard drive which was ntfs with some icons and stuff on it when i first started her up. i reformatted it to fat32 for use with ps3 (watching movies etc). So I've had this hard drive for about 6 months ago with a 2 year warrenty and it has started clicking alot, i've checked online and found that this means its starting to die and i need to get my data backed up and get a new 1 with the warrenty. I've checked the warrenty slip and some of the warrenty voids are improper installation, operation, maintenance or modification. Does this mean if i send it to them in its current state (fat32) will the warrenty be void?
