Voicemail left on my phone without a missed call: Financial Control Services?
There are multiple ways you can receive a voice mail without a missed call notice. If your phone is turned off or has no signal when the call is placed, it won't register as a missed call, but your voice mail will function. It is also possible for the caller to direct calls straight to voice mail. The above aside, this probably IS a scam. In the US, it is actually a FEDERAL CRIME for a collector to state they are attempting to collect a debt until they confirm they are talking to the person they are attempting to collect from. In addition, scam operators often use generic names such as the one you have precisely so you WON'T be sure that you never owed the money. Worst case, you CAN'T get in any more trouble by ignoring a voice mail. At MINIMUM, they would have to sent WRITTEN notice that they are SUING you before they can do anything more than make idle threats.
Tracfone... i can't hear anyone who calls me?
I have a Motorola ex431g through Tracfone, and people can hear me fine when they call me or I call them, but I can't hear anything when I make or receive a call. This just started today, any easy fix for this that I could try? any suggestions would be good. the phone is relatively new, maybe only 2 months old.
