Can You Get High Off Match Stick Fumes

Can you get high off of just smelling weed?

Yes, But that would only be a contact high. I speak from experience. I was traveling with my boyfriend and his sister and they were smoking some weed. About 30 minutes of that and I was woozy. When we finally reached the mall I swore I could fly and felt so light and spacy. Must of been some good stuff because the handful of times I actually smoked it I never felt that good and all it does is make me laugh a lot.

What happens if you eat a matchstick?

Behold, an pretty legit answer, though I don't like to brag.

I understand, though I have never heard of this myth until now.
"Sulfur is one of the oldest known acne treatments. Yes, sulfur. The same stuff match sticks are made of." (http://acne.about.com/od/otcacnetreatmen...
But ingested, you have a problem because of the reason you stated, they're not for eating.
Here's the problem, you're eating something that is not registered by the health-food-such-and-such to give you a healthy meal. I'm not sure if eating it is just full "bad" for you, but I do know that in the making of it, the workers are not using high quality machinery and are not cleaning them, which they would if the were making edible foods. So you have a risk of ingesting, say, rat droppings, human skin flakes and hair, tiny pieces of metal, and anything else you would find in an factory. It's as dangerous as eating chalk or other "objects", though chalk is chalk, a match has actual chemicals in it. If you have found out what eating a lot of them has done to a human body, then that's a bad sign showing that you ARE slowly ingesting something that kills. (No overdose, I mean, but every body's different, too.) If you're young, you may either have a stronger body to fight off poison, or you have a smaller body to be easier overcome by poison.

Does sewer pipelines blow up when put a light matchstick in?

For a sewer line to blowup by lighting a matchstick...You have to know the fire triangleso there have to be proportional amount of all condition to blow the sewer line.Presence of combustible gas i.e methane is not questionable but is there enough amount in the whole line or just traces of it in very low concentration, since sewer line have vent provided at many location to vent these harmful gasses. Its possible to have such case only when there is confined space without ventilation.Another point is availability of oxygen in sufficient proportion in sewer line to form combustion mixer. Also the reaction has to be continuous enough to blow up the complete sewer networks

Can you get high from the smell of marijuana?

Yes you can.Although it would be more accurate to say that you can get high from the SMOKE, not just smell.I was smoking weed with my non-weed smoker in my minimally ventilated 3x4 room once, and after some time my friend got bloodshot red eyes and being calm. So I can tell he is definitely high. But probably it would depends a lot on how much smoke is swirling around and your level of tolerance towards THC.My cat also get docile everytime I smoke weed in said room with her around, so probably she gets secondhand high too. But apparently she doesn't like it so most of the time she would go out if I start to smoke haha

Can you get high from the smell of marijuana?

The fact that you can strongly smell it means by definition you are inhaling a very small amount of it. In a nutshell, it's pretty much like "second hand tobacco smoke" - much the same thing.

It's fairly unlikely that they'd actually get "high" from it, if it was coming all the way from next door, and it also seems unlikely that they'd suffer any long-term harm from that very small concentration.

However there are other issues that I'd be more worried about. Like for example if your 10 year old goes to school smelling of weed even though they have nothing to do with it. That's pretty rude and inconsiderate of the neighbours and could lead to obvious problems for the child.

Can you accidentally get high off weed?

My best bet would be that the only way one can get accidentally high normally is through ingestion (with those Alice B.Toklas brownies). Second hand smoke is not an option (and even if it was, you’d have to be very ingenuous not to suspect something “accidentally” happening with your hall closet full of stoners passing around a blunt while you read a good book). The only other ways to get weed like effects are THC oil and Marinol. You won’t be taking them accidentally though. If you are still worried maybe its time for a new group of friends.

How damaging to the lungs is inhaling match fumes?

Those who have suffered lung damage due to excessive smoking, may taste the new life of gorgeous red-sized tomatoes and fresh apples. Such claims were made by a team of researchers from the John Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health in the United States.John Hopkins's researcher's research has revealed another important information. And it has been that, with a study of about 50 people who have quit smoking 10 years or so ago, they have found that the effects of smoking on your lungs due to eating apple and tomato regularly have been surprisingly erased!Apart from this, 20 people who regularly smoked a lot of regularly consumed tomatoes and apples have found that, in a certain time, the loss of lungs is less than the loss of the lungs due to smoking.According to Johns Hopkins's assistant professor and renowned researcher Vanessa Garcia Larsen, this study has shown that if people who quit smoking, by eating tomato and apple every day, but there is almost no possibility of decreasing lung performance. In turn, the problem of lungs can be overcome. And those who smoke, their fear of loss will be reduced considerably. Even lung cancer can be avoided. Moreover, the researchers claim that these two fruits can also become medicines to those who have respiratory problems. According to them, the tomato and apple acid infections are not suitable for lung disease. In 2002, for the first time, 650 adults started researching about the condition of diet, smoking and lungs. After 10 years, tests were done on them again and they started feeding tomato and apple regularly, judging the lung condition. Recent reports have come out of the research. But not only apple or tomato, researchers say that if any adult consumes fresh fruits three times a day, their lungs will be around 70 percent better than others. However, in this case, the best of course tomatoes and apples. However, the process did not meet the result of the results, researchers have also made clear.Read morehealthy food to lose weighthealthy breakfast recipes for weight lossbodybuilding workout routines for massFast weight loss diet plan lose 5kg in 5 daysdiets for quick weight loss

Can you get high off of second hand marijuana (weed) smoke?

Yes you can.It will not be nearly as high as actually smoking but definitely if there is smoke that is being smoked and you are near, even a little bit can give you some mild effect.I was eating at a restaurant in Bakersfield, CA when someone outside started smoking and definitely noticed a high of sorts creep in. Very little. But basically when someone exhales smoke there is still THC in that smoke, so that could get you buzzed. If someone just lets the smoke evaporate and spread, plenty of weed smoke in there to inhale. The fact is if you live with anyone smoking in their room while they are there and you are there, you are probably getting a little bit high. The “no” answers are incorrect, as I’ve gotten secondhand high numerous times. Like I said, it’s a small amount, but it’s not at 0%.In fact, I’ve been in public places and people nearby smoked. Yes, I got a little bit. Now, I’ve smoked hundreds of times, and I know what being high feels like very very well. I know every corner of it and how it works. So, no I can’t say 5 seconds of secondhand inhalation will get you really high, but from my experience, there will be THC entering you, and thus having a slight effect. I’d say for 5 seconds of secondhand smoke, you may get 1/300th high of smoking a full joint…so not a whole lot.But if you spend say 10 minutes around secondhand smoke, with lots of burning smoke not just exhalation, you will likely get buzzed, but it will be in a mild way and not like the same experience as smoking, but in a half assed sort of way.Even a quick whiff of secondhand smoke to me when someone in public smokes and I walk by and forcibly get some of the air, I do feel a little bit of THC enter my head.

Does diesel catch fire ?

Enough, suddenly, on a small flame like a candle and it would go out because the mass of diesel would cool the wick and quench the flames.

But a cup on a campfire? Stand back. Once it starts to volatize at 200-300C (which will as soon at it hits the hot wood and coals), the vapors will burn just as well as gasoline vapors do. Consider TWA Flight 800. That was jet fuel (essentially diesel) fumes in a mostly empty fuel tank heated (inadvertantly) by the air conditioning unit underneath. Kablooie!

If you're trying to start a fire, diesel needs a wick to get it going. Like a wax candle. If you have a lot of heat (campfire, A/C unit, aircraft/building impact), diesel burns very well.
