Why do girls get all dressed up for school on thier Birthday?
Mostly Girls I never seen a guy dress up for thier birthday. Its like they are going to the prom or something. . Wearing dresses or expensive clothes,heels make up jewelry. Its just plain stupid why dress up to go to school when you are only going to spend 7-8 hours there and go home. Do you really need to cause that much attention to yourself?
Why do people feel sad on their birthdays?
Yes, birthday is a “judgment day”where you realize that your presence may not be as important for others as you thought. Aren’t you happy you are alive? You celebrate your birthday for yourself, first of all.Your birthday is the day where you praise your birth, your existence and your presence. It is the day where you say “I exist too mothaf***as. I am here too.”You have to beat the drum and make others dance to it, especially on your birthday. Birthdays are symbolic, yet mutually symbolic, so they count.Get into the habit of preparing for your birthday party. Note the date for yourself first, 2 weeks earlier in your calendar. Find a place to go to celebrate, and something to do. And treat them to something. Prepare a list of people you would like to invite, and then start inviting them in advance. This way you will feel a lot happier every year on your birthday.
Would you ask someone to bring a cake to your birthday party that your having?
I'm sorry but I don't think its rude. First of all, how good of friends are you? You're travelling 2 hours to come to her party, so you must be really good friends. If that's the case then, why would you mind getting a birthday cake for someone you care about? So what if you're travelling 2 hours. I brought 3 cakes from where I live to my dad's birthday party (7 hour trip) I did it cause I love him and it never occurred to me that I wouldn't want to do this. Now, if this is just a fair weather friend. Someone whom you really aren't that close. Okay, I guess it's a little rude... maybe. But who cares, it's her birthday and she asked you to do this one little thing for her party. It's supposed to be bad luck to buy your own cake. Maybe she's superstitious. I say, just do it and stop complaining about it. At least she didn't ask you to bring the booze.
Today's my birthday, but no one remembered. Does this mean they don't care?
On my 30th birthday about six months ago…not one person from my immediate family called me. In fact, not one person from my family called me at all until I reminded them (very late in the day) that it was my 30th birthday (like 10pm—it’s almost time for bed—late).I felt pretty bad about that.I can understand how you might feel.I would not try to “stop the sadness.” Just feel what you’re feeling. There’s nothing wrong with that.Also, let your friends know it made you feel sad.I let my family know. I don't recommend saying to your friends what I said to my family since our situations are slightly different, but do tell them that you were sad no one remembered your birthday, and you wish that they would next time.I told my family that I would not bother calling them on their birthdays, if they couldn’t be bothered to remember mine.They didn’t like to hear that, but they couldn't argue with it. Again, I’m not saying you should take this same approach with your friends. I would be less bitter than I was with my family.Just let your friends know it upset you that they didn’t remember.In the case with my family, they were “repeat offenders” so I had lost my patience a bit. If this is the first time your friends have forgotten then I wouldn’t get too disappointed just yet. Give them another chance.
