Can You List Some Names That Have Warmth To Them

What is the professional name of a cosmetic scientist that studys ....?

Since you mentioned it is for a chemistry project, you're going after the chemical aspect of the job. There are different kinds of chemists and their titles are typically based off of the kind of chemistry they perform. If someone works for Kraft foods, they could say they were a food chemist, but technically they would be trained as an organic, inorganic, biological, physical, spectroscopic, or analytical chemist.

If you're interested in the titles of what a cosmetic company would post in a job listing, check out the american chemical society website (www.acs.org), you can also browse the jobs listings: http://chemistryjobs.acs.org/search/browse/

What are warm colors and what are some examples?

Instead of looking at warm and cool as a continuous spectrum from one side of the color wheel to the other -splitting the color wheel in half- you can look at it another way. And that is as a spectrum within each hue like you see on the attached color wheel. There are warm yellows and cool yellows. Warm reds and cool reds. Warm blue and cool blues, etc. The only way to determine if a color is warm or cool is to compare it to another color; psychological color temperature is about context. The warm and cool designations on this color wheel uses the context of a color system comprised of several thousand colors to establish what hue families/hue angles will likely be perceived as warm or cool.

How do you project a warm greeting to guests especially if you work at hospitality management?

It is important to express a warm greeting to all your guests at all times without appearing fake or insincere. This can be accomplished by doing two things. First, smile. Second, simply say, “Good Morning, Good Afternoon, or Good Evening” (depending on time of day. ) Say it to every guest using the 10/5 rule. The 10/5 rule is used to acknowledge anyone who comes within 10 feet of you by smiling while attempting to make casual eye contact. If a guest comes within 5 feet of you, you acknowledge them by stating “Good Morning”, etc. If the guest name is known, it MUST be used, no exception and every employee should be required to learn and use the guest name if they have access to it. Remove “Sir/Madam” from your vocabulary unless you do not have access to their name. Memorize the guest name. No exception. Is it easy to do? Not so much but so what? If you want to be the best, use your customer’s name each time, every time and start with a greeting. A warm and genuine greeting that expresses that you are happy to have them stay with you.Remember to smile. That cannot be understated and undervalued. Also, I should mention, say Good Morning (or Afternoon, Evening) as you would want to hear it from someone and with an upbeat tone, chin up rather than downbeat tone, looking at the floor. When all your employees are saying the same thing, your guests will begin to see the pattern and naturally begin thinking how friendly your property is which will affect their perception which affects their feelings which affects their overall experience while visiting.P.S. None of this means that staff needs to engage in conversation however, you will find that some guests will respond by not only replying back but actually might be lost or confused and use the opening by your staff as an opportunity to ask a question whereas they may not attempt to ask an employee who is just walking by. The power of “HELLO” is very powerful. On a personal note, I remember walking through a garden area of the Four Seasons Hotel on the Big Island of Hawaii on my honeymoon with my wife at 7am in 1999 and the gardener who was on his knees digging in the dirt, all sweaty, looked up at us and said “Good Morning.” Here it is, 2016…17 years later and I STILL remember an employee who greeted us because it was so unexpected and welcomed and one of my takeaways from that resort experience has always been how friendly they all were.

In what ways are friction helpful and harmful?

Helpful:

1. We use it to brake our cars
2. We use it to fly our airplanes. (The friction of air on the wing causes the plane to stay airborne).
3. We would slip and fall if there were no friction between the ground and our shoes (demonstrated by an icy sidewalk...).
4. We wouldn't be able to turn a doorknob without friction. (Our hand would just slide off of it.)
5. We can warm our bodies by friction. (When campers get lost, they can rub thier chest, arms and legs to create warmth by friction)

Harmful:

1. Our cars would get much better gas mileage without tire and air friction.
2. There would be no more skinned knees if friction didn't exist. (Like when you are skating or playing football.)
3. We wouldn't have to worry about clothes chaffing us in dry weather if there were no friction.
4. We could do some pretty amazing dance moves without friction. (The Electric Slide would last forever....)
5. Our shoes would last a lot longer without friction.
