Can you pay for a Tier 4 Visa with a credit card?

I am a student at a University in the north east of the united states and I am going abroad to London in the fall for a semester. I need a Tier 4 Visa because I will be doing an internship while I am there. So what forms of payment are accepted for a Tier 4 UK visa. Anyone with personal experience is appreciated.
Discover credit card?
I want to apply for the discover card but not sure if my fico score is good enough. If you have a discover card, what was your fico score at the time? Mines is 720, is that high enough? If so which discover card should I apply for, (Discover Gold or Discover Platinum)? I think the platinum card you have to have excellent credit and the gold card you need good credit.

Can I pay using Debit card for my GRE in India?
Most debit cards issued by the banks in India, especially- the Public sector banks don’t have the authority to pay for the GRE Exam. Even though, international debit card issued from PNB, SBI etc boasting “International” may even not work for payment to ETS - reason being direct debit(1 tier debit) by the payment gateway(ETS) , whereas mostly debit cards in India have 2 tier authentication mechanism.Even, as mandated and advertised by RBI EMV chip based debit cards from Public Sector Banks may not work with the payment option.Hence, the best advice is to use a debit card from the private banks such as Axis Bank , ICICI bank etc which have the highest success rate keeping in mind to turn ON the international transaction facility by calling the customer care with the associated bank.Hope this helps !

you are somewhat incorrect. merchant fees are negotiable. they usually involve a fixed amount per transaction plus a percentage. high volume merchants, like walmart, can negotiate lower fees. fees also tend to be lower for debit cards used in debit mode(enter your pin instead of sign). credit card companies(mostly banks) absolutely hate people who pay off their balances in full every month, like me. as they get no chance for any additional interest earnings when i fail to carry a balance.
Can CFA fees be paid using a Visa debit card from India?
Yes. You can use Visa or Mastercard. By default, Indian debit cards do not work on foreign payment gateway. You need to call up your bank and activate international payments on your card. For this, the card should be EMV Chip card.
Is Direct Rewards Platinum card a Visa, Mastercard or Discover card? Is it a good credit card to have?
It's a Discover. I used to have discover and they kept changing their rewards system. To get that 5% you can't spend more than $300 To get a reward you have to call them up an ask them. They give you a debit card that you have to initialize Their regular rewards are based on a tier system - which stinks. Hard to get the full 1% rewards. I ended up with a card that simply gives me 2% cash back and I'm happy. If you can put up with discover and their tricky rewards system - go for it. I simply do not know how they get away with making things so confusing. /
