Can You Sense When Something Bad Will Happen

Can animals really sense when something bad is going to happen to their owner?

Dogs have far better senses of smell and hearing than we do. They can certainly smell or hear something coming before we can and make a noise to alert their owner or warn whatever it is off.

Mostly, dogs actually react to their owner. We all give out little signals that we're barely aware of, about whether we're scared or nervous or angry - dogs sense these and immediately assume that if their owner or 'leader' is afraid of something or on guard, they have reason to be the same.
Some people also say that cats and dogs can detect illness; I think scientists and animal experts believe that it's because they can smell biochemical changes in the body caused by the enzymes and chemicals emitted as organs begin to shut down or disease begins to take over.

If animals had a sixth sense about something impending, surely you'd never see a dog, cat or other animal hit by a car, and animals would rarely be involved in accidents; they'd know to get out of the way faster.

The sense of something bad is going to happen?

Has anyone ever had a bad feeling in the pit of their stomach when something bad was going to happen even when someone was going to die. This feeling hits me in the middle of my stomach and a strong eerie feeling washes over my body that makes me sick. I do not know who or when this will happen but the minute it does the bad feeling goes away. This is something that I do not wish on anyone. However, my daughter has the same feelings I do and I recently found out that my oldest grandson has the same feelings as we do. I wish I could find out why I have these feelings and why my daughter and grandson have those same feelings. What does this mean? How can I control it? Please let me know what the nature of this means.

Can dogs sense when something bad has happened/will happen?

Dogs are very intuitive and your mums dog will be picking up on the fact that she is depressed. By the sounds of things they have a strong bond normally & this is why he is behaving in this way now. It sounds like he just wants to take care of your mum and show her that he loves her. It sounds like you are also worried about the way your mum has been coping since the breakdown off her relationship, maybe you should try & talk to her about how she is feeling and let her know that you are worried. Ihave got 2 dogs, the female is nearly 7 & I've had her from a pup. When my partner isn't at home or he is about to call my phone she starts to pace up and down the house or she will sit beside the door making noises for at least 15 mins before he gets home or calls. It's not as though it happens at the same time everyday and she knows the routine, it's always at different times of the day, so I can from experience definitely say dogs can pick up on things before they happen. I hope that your mums mood picks up soon and that you and the dog can stop worrying about her. Hope all goes well, take care.

Why do I feel like something bad is going to happen to me?

This is a true sign of growth. When you start asking yourself questions about your life and don't just live the story. Your inner voice is telling you that there's another way.In a way having a feeling or a premonition, whether bad or good, about what’s going to happen, means you’re not letting the opportunities come at you spontaneously. Most people believe and actually live in a way that their past completely reflects their future. In fact, it's actually the case, because they use the same tools in the same situations. So they get the same results. So they always feel that something bad is going to happen. Or good.Like always adding too much salt to the soup. Guess what? You get salty soup. So try making a soup once with no salt.If you don’t like what you feel, try being and acting differently. Try new things in the recipe of how you live and you'll immediately see a difference in the outcomes.Try these for example:Help others more if you feel you need help.Listen to others more if you want to be heard.Invite others out if don't want to be alone.Invest in preparation if you want to succeed. like prepare for an exam, for an interview, for a first date.Work out and get some exercise, dance (even alone!); listen to your body, it's communicating and is very intelligent.Smile more often. Good things are coming your way.Perhaps then, you might not feel anything about what’s going to happen. Then whatever comes you can just enjoy “the soup”.Life is first of all an experience!

Can cats tell if something bad is going to happen?

well, I don't want to freak you out
but yes, cats are usually pretty good at predicting things
for example, this cat was able to predict death for elderly folks in a nursing home:
http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/americas/6917113.stm
however, that is no reason to freak out
your cat may be predicting something completely different such as a storm coming your way, or a big fight between your parents, or something of the like...
if I were you, I would stay calm
yet, I would also stay awake and watch your sister for a little while...just to be on the safe side (I'm sure your sister will be fine, but if you're worried then you won't be able to sleep anyway, so you might as well watch out for her and put your mind at ease)
try to relax, pull out a good book or watch a movie with your sister
everything will be fine, but to put your mind at ease you should stay awake for awhile and keep an eye out for her

Can cats sense when something bad is going on?

At this very moment my cat & I are laying in bed & my parents are arguing. I can barely even type correctly bc she keeps butting her head against my phone & she keeps licking me. Can she tell what's going on???
