Who sings the song "Night and Day"? It's a techno song?

I saw a music video... it was two guys. One guy with black hair was singing that in the mic, and another guy with blonde hair was behind him DJing. They were performing on stage. It was basically just a music video of a performance, it looked like. The guys voice has some slight effect to it, sounds like a person singing but there's this robotic feel to it, similar to auto-tune.

I'm kind of disappointed that I forgot how the song continues. I want to say something like "night and day I dream about you" or "night and day I still think of you"... something. I know that the line begins with "night and day" and ends with "you." I'm pretty sure. The song is about 128 beats per minute and that line would fill two measures.

Someone has to know what song this is! I remember hearing it YEARS ago on the radio, it was pretty popular.

Why do people dislike electronic music?

Let me list several categorical reasons for why I dislike some (if not most) electronic music. As the listed points are easily refutable, I will do so myself.Emotionless. Electronic music sounds like a sliding scale between mildly excited and really excited, and any transition between the two is executed with the timely turn of a knob. I think Bibio's work is a good counterexample to this. A couple of his tracks capture nostalgia in a dizzying yet rapturous way because of his use of loops and tape warble.Boring. It all sounds the same. Repetitively goes through predictable motions. Want people to start dancing more? Turn up the bass. Want to make them scream? Make the music build up unsustainably and then cut it off for a second before bringing back the main motif.A lot of people say "[insert genre] all sounds the same" when they obviously mean they just don't like it. I don't think the argument holds well against a specific type of music, objectively. If you enjoy it, you will hear the nuances. And hey, maybe you like going through the motions. Rhythmically static. 4/4 at the same number of beats per minute for hours. KILL me.I will always, always hate this formula, but there are definitely electronic acts that overcome it. Acts that incorporate live instrumentation or percussive elements tend to do best (Battles being my favorite example). Radiohead's "Morning Bell" (Kid A version) is in 5/4 (I hear 10/8). Don't let what you hear in the dance clubs ruin your perspective; otherwise, I wouldn't like ANY type of music.E-tards. No comment. Also, no rebuttal.EDIT:Two additions that in 2015 I feel the need to make, with NO rebuttal:People are subjected to it EVERYWHERE.DJs are making upwards of $66M a year while bands I have played shows with are putting together GoFundMe pages for their real instruments getting stolen.
