Can You Use A Visa Credit Card You Found

Should I use the credit card numbers I found online?

OK, let’s try and shift this query into the real physical world. “Is it OK to pick up a dropped credit card in the street and use it?”. Think about this… you are stealing money from someone, either the owner of the credit card or the company that provided it. Furthermore, you are doing it in a way that is easily traceable… not a good way to start your criminal career. Take my advice, unless you are very clever, or a politician, crime doesn’t really pay.

If I find someone's credit card and use it can I get found out?

If I find someones credit card like on the street or something and buy things on credit and just copy their signitature - can i be found out - like obviously it would stop working evantually or if they cancel their card, but are their like tracking devices or whatever on cards?

Can i get money from a found credit card on the ground?

No. Firstly you need the matching PIN to get money out. Secondly, using someone else's card (even trying to) without their knowledge or permission is called fraud. This is a criminal offence. Thirdly, the card has probably already been reported as lost or stolen which means it is cancelled. If you even try and use it you can be charged with attempted fraud. Dont. You should go into your bank and hand it in to the cashier saying you found it.

Discover credit card?

I want to apply for the discover card but not sure if my fico score is good enough. If you have a discover card, what was your fico score at the time? Mines is 720, is that high enough? If so which discover card should I apply for, (Discover Gold or Discover Platinum)? I think the platinum card you have to have excellent credit and the gold card you need good credit.

Can I use a prepaid gift card to pay a Discover Credit Card?

The answer is no unless you really take a roundabout way to do it. In general, you cannot pay a credit card bill (discover, visa,mc,Amex) with a credit card. It doesn’t matter typically if it’s a credit card, debit card or gift card. The only payment method I’ve seen is payment from a bank account. Payment via credit card is typically not allowed due to the cost of merchant processing fees. This is also not allow due to kiting laws. Credit card kiting refers to the use of one or more credit cards to obtain cash and purchasing power they do not have, or pay credit card balances with the proceeds of other cards. There are ways to do it if you really needed to. Sometimes you can withdrawal cash using your card from an ATM. This incurs fees and immediate interest. There are also some online billpay services that allow you to pay your bills using a credit card but the fees are typically not worth the credit card points you may get.

How do you use a Visa Gift Card Online?

yes you can use a visa gift card although there are a few extra steps
to take so the card wont be declined
read the following it helps explain things better
Using Visa or American Express Gift Cards to Shop Online

question. One of the most asked gift card questions, particularly on Yahoo Answers is whether you can use a Visa or any other bank issued gift card (American Express, Discover, or MasterCard) to shop online. The answer is yes.

However, there are additional steps you have to take to prevent your card from being rejected by the merchant. The problem with using Visa (or any other bank issued) gift card online is that there is no verifiable name and address associated with the card. When buying things online, most merchants want your name and billing address to match the name and address you have on file with your card (credit, debit, or bank gift card) issuer.

Therefore, before you use your Visa or other bank issued gift card, call the merchant/financial institution that issued the card or go to their website and add your name and address to the card. This will ensure that when you use the card online, the name and address you provide to the merchant for billing will match the name and address on file for the card. Once you have registered your card, you can use it online just like you would use a regular credit card.

If your information (name and address) has changed since you registered your Visa gift card, call the card issuer or go online and update your information before you use the card online.

If I use my Discover credit card to buy a gift card from Walmart (mixed with the purchase of groceries) will it be noted on my online statement?

I don’t think Discover and Walmart have level 3 line-item reporting of sales. However, you should know that Discover is pretty cutthroat about reneging on promotions when you bought cash-equivalents like gift cards. They don’t have to see it on their end. They’ll just deny the cash back until you prove the purchase was qualified to their satisfaction. If you’re just buying something for the capped quarterly bonus, they’re not going to care.
