How can I access my Yahoo account if the mobile number is no longer working to receive the verification code?
Go to the sign in page and click forgot your password. One of the options will be for no longer having access to the mobile number on file.This question has been asked and answered dozens of times. The steps remain the same, and have, for at least the last five years.

How do i change my mobile (cell) phone number in my gmail acct?
i cannot find any place under account settings in gmail to change phone numbers. i got a new cell phone and i want to put my new # in and take the old number out. i know my old # is tied to this gmail acct. cuz they made me put it in when i initially opened the acct. i don't want to open a different gmail acct., either. so, if anyone knows how to change your phone # in gmail settings, i would really appreciate it. thanks!
Email account locked because of text message verification?
I am trying to login to one of my email accounts, but Yahoo refuses to let me login insisting that I type in a code verification via text message. I never entered my password in wrong either. The only phone number yahoo will take is an old work phone that I added years ago. I can't update my cell phone number because I can't login. I can't login because I don't have access to my old work phone that doesn't even take text messages anyway. I try resetting my password via my security question, lo and behold, I have to wait until July 27th to access my security question because it is not "available" or verify via text message.... Anyone else see the complete and utter flawed system going on here? I tried calling customer support, lo and behold, all representatives are busy and cannot take my call. I didn't even get put on hold. I was told to basically hang up and try the Yahoo Help online. So I am permanently shut out of my email account because I can't enter in some text message code that has to be sent to an old phone that I don't use anymore and can't receive texts anyway. Yahoo has to seriously fix its customer support, its terrible email service and security, and has to stop harassing me to "update my profile". I just want to access my e-mail.
Tinder SMS verification not working!!!?
This is so frustrating! The Tinder app wants me to enter my phone number so it can send me a message to verify the account but every time I enter my phone number and hit "request code", it says "Whoops! An error occurred while requesting a token for SMS verification. Please try again." How do I fix this?

Could it be someone trying to access my e-mail? It's been happening for a week now. This was a recycled e-mail address. Could it be the old owner wants it back? When I first requested it, was told it was taken but then got a message from Yahoo saying when it is open they recycle them and they let me have it. Try these suggestionsI can’t reset my password because I can't access the email address or phone number listed on my account.and in future when an email address or phone changes always reset everything that depends on it immediately. I learnt the hard way years ago when I lost a Hotmail address and found there was no way of getting it back because I no longer owned the root email address it was authorized from.
