I cannot attach a file in Yahoo mail using Safari or Chrome as the browser. I have an up to date Macbook Air?
This is a common problem for the last 2 weeks. Not everyone is affected at the same time. Yahoo has set up a page (Known Issues) to try to figure out what is causing it. We are searching for workarounds. None of the troubleshooting tips is working. Here are things that worked (but not for everyone). If you can get back to Classic Mail, do it (Yahoo is making that hard to do). If you are switch to Internet Explorer and still can't attach, open a new window. Tools>Compatibility View Settings>Display All Websites In Compatibility View (check this). A Yahoo Staff had a different solution. They said to "Turn off Compatibility Mode". To load an attachment, drag and drop instead of using the Paperclip icon. To open an attachment, double click on it.
How to attach multiple files at once with new yahoo mail?
This new yahoo e-mail sucks in many ways, but the one most annoying to me is the fact that I can't attach more than 1 file at a time? The NEW version will not allow this. The old version did. This happens in Firefox. Internet Explorer allows me multiple attachments at once. I am not pleased with this!
Can't download photos attached to Yahoo Mail?
When I download an image (jpg) that was sent via Yahoo Mail as an attachment on my home computer, it says there are 0 bytes and I can not view the image. I can download other files (doc, pdf) without any problems. I can view Yahoo Mail on my laptop and download the images without any problems, so this seems to be specific to my home computer. Not sure what has changed recently, but any ideas on what could be causing the problem?

Yahoo Mail PDF Attachment Blank?
Via my yahoo mail account I attached and send a single page PDF document. I was informed it came out as a blank page on the receiving end. To troubleshoot I first verified that my source PDF was viewable. Second I downloaded the attached PDF from my sent folder. The attached PDF opened as a blank page. The attached PDF was same file size as the original PDF. I tried several different PDF readers all opened as a blank page. I then retried attaching and sending the original PDF file to the same recipient, successfully this time. I send a lot of PDFs. Anyone else have this happen? What was the likely cause of this behavior? How do I minimize the chances it will happen again?
