Which amp is better sony xplod or Autotek?

it all depends how u wire ur subs if they are dvc, or if each is a 6ohm. and then what the ohm impediance is on the amp bridged.. another is which model sony/ which model autotek.. id go autotek mean machine or super sport over any sony any day. my personal opinion.

I have an Autotek Super Sport 400.2 Amplifier and need more information on it. How much should it sell for??

$100.00 because brand new it goes for $122.19 + ship

Autotek is a good amp?

no! stay away from them! those are flea market quality amps! if your looking to save money at least invest in hifonics. autotek is garbage! there as good as lanzer. autotek amps will never do rated rms. look for cae rated amps! then you will know they'll do rated power

Has anyone ever review or used a Autotek AT950 amplifier?

i reviewed one before, it is cheap and it broke within a week of use. DO NOT BUY IT unless you cant afford anything better. I would suggest Theater Research TR-9500 they are the best out of all that I have heard.

Or if you have a little extra money get the TR-9700

You will be able to tell the difference and blow anyone away that has alpine's or infinity's. Since you are an audiophile don't cheap out on these things. Alpine has a big name because they are cheap but semiquailty. But compared to Theater Research they look like dollar store speakers.

Old school Autotek sx-4160 a good,underrated amp?

I have two sets of Lanzar opti components that are 200w rms per speaker and I need an amp that can give them at least 150w rms each.
I already have the old school Autotek mm4000.1d and would like to have another Tek amp to go with it.
Would like to get my hands on a mm100.4 but haven't had any success finding one.
Thanks

Need help setting the settings on my autotek at1000 car amp?

So I recently got a system for my car, and I have no idea how to fix the settings on my autotek AT1000 amp, like the lpf and hpf, also the bass and bass eq. I was wondering if anyone can help me. I installed the subs, amp, head set and speakers by my self so I had no one to help me set the amp. Thank you.

I have a Autotek SX-2150 2-Channel Car Amp with 3 12 jl audio 300 watts a piece will this work?

you could only run two.

I'm not getting sound to my speaker from my amp. The amp lights up and it's on, everything is brand new so it shouldn't be blown. Any help?

Check different inputs (tuner, CD?) for any sound, listen for even a hiss from a tweeter or a slight "pop" when you turn on/off the amp. If there's no sign of life at all from either speaker, you might try plugging headphones in to see if there's any sound at all that way. There are sometimes multiple speaker jacks on the rear for A/B speakers, make sure if they use bare wire connectors that there are no strands of wire shorting between any of the connections and that bare copper is connecting into the connectors tightly. Wiggling them a little can help find iffy connections there. A tape monitor switch on the front panel, if switched on, will keep any other audio (like tuner, CD) from getting to the amp except as crosstalk, (a very faint musical signal). Check the wires at the speakers as well, and hook up the speakers to any other amp just to confirm that they're not broken. If all this fails, you might actually have a dead amp section (can happen from even a momentary wire shorting at the speaker connecters) even if the amp lights up and CDs act like they're playing. There are sometimes speaker switches on the front for A or B speakers, obviously if it's on the wrong set nothing will come out.You should consider photos of the front/rear panel or model numbers or some such for better advice. Also, if it's brand new, take it back where you bought it, and make them prove that it works and have them replace it if they can't get it to work! Or call the company with proof of purchase to fix it or replace it. Warranties are useful!

I have a 4000 watt 1-channel dclass autotek and need to find some subs that wont blow?

THATS A CHEAP AMP I GUARETE YOU WONT GET 4000 WATTS OUTTA THAT AMP....Is that the RMS WATTAGE ON THE AMP.....

2 15" KICKER SOLOBARICS CAN TAKE A BEATING....THEY WOULD GO GOOD WITH THAT AMP THEY are 1000 watts RMS A PIECE BUT YOU CAN OVER POWER THEM 200 OR 300 WATTS ON each sub so you wont blow them you will be lucky if that amp can push them....

and with a 4000 watt amp I hope you plan on the big 3 upgrade high output altanator yellow top battery etc. etc.

you defenitly wont blow this sub with that amp.......
