Cat Acting Weird Freaking Me Out A Little.

Stumbling, vomitting cat, HELP Please?

On two seperate occasions (about a two months apart) my cat was acting extremely weird. She started walking sideways, kinda drunken like, and then she puked on the floor. Now her throwing up is nothing new. Between my two cats, I clean up cat vomit from the floor about twice a week. There's nothing wrong with them, they're just little piggies. But the stumbling thing is freaking me out a bit. She seems perfectly fine afterward and there has been no other health changes. I read on the internet somethings cats act that way due to flea medications, but she hasn't been treated for fleas in three months, so that can't be it. Does anyone know what could be causing this? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Okay my Nipples are acting WEIRD?

It may be weird, but it's normal.

The little bumps are just oil glands. The pointiness is just a normal reaction, and the dryness is probably due to hormones or the weather, but it's nothing to worry about.

Why my make cat all of a sudden freaking out and licking?

I've had a cat with the same thing. The vet said it was some sort of skin allergy, and gave me topical medication to apply to the area, and that cleared it up. I'm not saying that is what is wrong with your cat, but it certainly sounds similiar. In any event, a visit to the vet is in order.

Why is my cat freaking out after smelling Vick's Vapor rub?

The Menthol in VapoRub comes from Peppermint Oil. Catnip is in the mint family of plants so cats can sometimes have reactions to other mints as well.

I had a cat years ago that would lick my legs if I put BenGay on them when I pulled a muscle. What I used to do so he could have the smell but not end up sick from licking it was just wipe a tiny bit on a sock, turn it inside out and give him the sock to play with.

Why is my cat acting afraid of everything after getting neutered?

It could depend on many factors, from transport to pain, to even the type of medication used as a sedative/anesthetic.For example, ketamine is commonly used for cat surgeries. It is popular in humans as a drug of abuse due to its hallucinogenic and dissasociative properties, effects that could be terrifying to cats.Coming out of anesthetic disoriented, cold, amongst the crying and fear pheremones of other animals must be horrible, add in being trapped in a tiny, brightly lit cage with no escape.Add in that the poor thing is in pain, and many owners aren’t willing (and some vets don’t offer)to pay for the “pain shot”, or meds to take home, and you have a very scared, traumatized, and painful kitty. My old man has required a few vet visits for colonics and enemas, as well as frequent dentals (those are over with as he recovered very poorly from his last anesthetic). Though he is a clinic favorite, always gets pain meds and sedatives, and is treated very well, he still spends some time under the bed when he first gets home.Though neutering is considered a non-invasive,minor surgery, there is s till going to be pain and swelling. Get some pain meds from the vet, and provide him with a safe, dark, warm hiding place like a covered bed, and light, tasty, easily digested food to eat. Put his litter pan, food and water in easy reach of his bed, though in opposite directions. To prevent litter sticking to his incision, use shredded newsprint (black and white only) for a few days until oozing has stopped.I’ve been through a life-threatening surgical situation where I was man-handled, only vaguely knowing what was going on, and it was so terrifying that I still have nightmares about it.

My cat is acting strange after giving birth?

Get her to a vet ASAP. That happened to one of my mama cats, and it turned out she had a uterine infection ( Pyometra ), which almost killed her. I got her to the vet JUST IN TIME, but she had to have a hysterectomy........removal of all reproductive organs. If I hadn't gotten her there, she would have died!

This was also on a Sunday, so it meant an E-vet.....$$$$, but she's still here......12 yrs later!

Hope this is NOT the case with your mama cat, but it's still better to be safe ( take her in for exam ) than sorry ( let her die )..........Good luck.

My CAT is acting really stranges Plz Help me?

We had a flood in our basement on the 2nd of june. every since that, my cat has been acting strange, he doesn't listen to me when I call him, he is eatting very little and drinking, everytime I do a kissy noise with my mouth or snap my fingers he shakes, I believe he is scard of the basement or something. Today he took a crap in my dining room and keeps on hissin. I brought his litter box up and used it before I took him down to the basment but he would go up stairs, when I carried him down stairs to my basement he would grasp on to me like a baby holding on tight. Then after he took the crap my mom wanted him in the basement so i carryied him there and tried to push him, but he was forcing with me, he didn't want to go down there. There is nothing down there that I know of? ANy clues or what SHould I do? Thanks
