Change My Leg Appearance

Islam: Haraam to change my appearance?

I always tie my hair back really tightly - this has made my hairline recede, therefore enlarging my forehead.
I also have highlights in my hair. (But wear a headscarf! Lol)
I wax my legs, bleach my (excess) chin/neck hair

The only thing I dont do is pluck my eyebrows (Although i do trim and pluck the middle)

Is this all allowed?
Or would it be considered 'altering the creation of Allah'?

Thankyou, and Salaams! :P

Do i need to change my appearance? My mom HATES the way I look?

my mom has extremely HIGH expectations of me physically because she wants to have a daughter that she can show off to everyone at gatherings and whatever it is she does..and the thing is, I use to feel fine about myself but all her disapproval and suggestions on my appearance and remarks about me have gone to my head and all the years of it have made me SUPER self conscious :( its really terrible, i cannot even go to the grocery store for 10 minutes without having to get ready by doing my hair and makeup and then when i am there i still feel inadequate to be looked at :( sorry i can't put my picture up because I don't want to disturb anyone so i will just describe myself i guess..
5'8- too tall for my moms liking
120lbs- not skinny enough for my mothers taste
long curly blonde hair- i guess she is ok with this
blue eyes-ok
my teeth are not perfectly white as mom would want , but they are white
and clear skin
i have a couple freckles on my arms which my mom wants me to remove but i don't think freckles are a big deal, but it really bothers her ..
i have a couple little scars on my leg and the one on the back of my neck, she wants to somehow remove them
I blush sometimes and my mom swears thier is a cream for that, i DON'T want to try it though
yep, thats all the major things..so..what should i do? do you think i should just ignore what she is saying or is she right? do i need to change all thease things and make myself look better?

What changes, if any, happen to the shape of a woman's body because she has become sexually active? Do her breasts get bigger because of the sex or something? Some people say the whole way she walks changes, because the body gets ready for pregnancy.

Having sex does not make your butt bigger, BUT having a lot of pumping against it can form it which may make it look bigger. My friend butt has gotten bigger after a year of having sex with her boyfriend a lot. but first the shape changed. you may need to give it time. your body changes. the shape the size the length all of it, and sex can change the shape and the size of not only your butt, it can also change your hips, your thighs, and your sides. sex tends to give people curves. and also after so long her back started to get a natural arch which made her butt stick out more and made it look bigger.Females have a higher fat percentage than males; males have a higher muscle percentage. The fat composition of males and females is different; males tend to deposit excess fat around the middle, females (before menopause) tend to lay it around the hips, bottom and thighs, as well as the breasts, they tend to have smaller waists. It is dur to oestrogen levels. Women have theses 'fat reserves' so they can feed and nurture any offspring. It tends to change after the menopause and women begin to deposit fat in the same areas as men, and gain thicker waists. Also it is a fertility sign to men; a large bottom indicates to a man that a woman is fertile.P.S: Please Upv0te, if this helped you satisfied with this answer

Does sinoplasty/septoplasty change the outward appearance of the nose?

How long has it been since you had the surgery? You may have a little swelling still. Septoplasty doesn't change the outward appearance of your nose, unless the the bent septum made your nose look crooked (ie had a "dog leg" appearance) if so, then the surgery would make your nose look straighter.

How much will HRT feminize my appearance?

Will HRT feminize my face? I've heard some people saying that it does and some people saying that it doesn't.

Will HRT feminize my hands? I think the size of my hands is pretty nice but they look to masculine.

Will HRT make my legs less hairy? If it doesn't make hair go away I'll consider other possibilities.

Thank you for your answers

Christians: Is it wrong to ask God to change your appearance?

Bible strictly says if you believe anything will be given.

This means God has given 'humans' to change this world at will, just anything if they can
truly believe. But there's one condition and one super overseer that prevents it from happening.

What would world be like if God grants everyone's wishes at will ? it will be a mess for sure, so
that is why God is putting the grip on some stuffs to keep them in order.

A father would not give infant 100 dollars now would he ? Not like it's not valuable but it is
dirty and likely to do more harm to the infant than good.
So, to prevent these kind of 'accidents' God only allows these 'good' changes like "changing
shape of nose" to only ones that truly deserve.

This is why we don't see any miracles anymore, But if you go on a mission trip say like
Africa, you still see many 'Pastors healing people just with prayer, because they
believe and they deserve the healing.

It's not matter of what you can do ? but why God has to let have it ?

Luke 11 : 11 - 12
"Which of you fathers, if your son asks for a fish, will give him a snake instead?
Or if he asks for an egg, will give him a scorpion?

What would you rather change - your personality or looks?

Am I really going to be the only man to answer this? Oh well, here goes...I would change my personality.Don't get me wrong: I don't think I'm particularly attractive, and there are a dozen things I wish I could change about my body, but my personality...well, where do I even begin!?I procrastinate like crazy, so even when I want to succeed I can be perceived as lazy and setting myself up for failure. This leads to a downward spiral of despondency.I have very little empathy, and have built a hard shell around myself by which I try not to let my true self out or make myself susceptible to being guided by anyone else's feelings.I am not a sympathetic person, and in fact I take a kind of maniacal glee in seeing other people's misfortune (where that misfortune doesn't affect me, because I'm also selfish). My approach to relationships is pretty much summed up by "my way or the highway" (just ask my girlfriend). I'm never willing to compromise, and I can be callous and inconsiderate when dealing with other people's needs.I view most other people as either intellectually inferior or downright boring, and often subtly (or in some cases overtly) belittle them for it.I'm insensitive and often don't think before opening my mouth, but will subsequently defend an indefensible position because I hate being wrong.Fortunately, I've found this wonderful platform called Quora which is filled with the musings and writings of thousands upon thousands of bright, funny, thoughtful, creative, experienced, brilliant, but above all human people. And little by little, I'm dragging myself out of my hostile, isolated, uncaring shell and immersing myself in the colour and the warmth of a shared human experience. So maybe I don't have to wish for a change.Maybe I can make the change, thanks to all of you.

Do depression change the way you look?

Unfortunately, it does. If you have severe depression you start forming crinkles. Also, you get bags under your eyes. It depends on the person to! I have friends that they are very depressed with school and life but they look fine. Over all it probably does. Yes, you can get your looks back. Like a cut on your leg heals and leaves a scar but the scar is not noticeable. It will look as if you never had depression. There are also medicines out there. I, my self regained my self esteem but it depending on the person. If your healthy and regain your confidence i think you have 90 % chance of regaining your self esteem and looking better then ever.
