Where can you get Copic markers cheap? Is it better to buy online or at a local art shop?

It is DEFINITELY better to buy online. Art stores tend to sell at full brand price with a markup. I’ve seen them go as high as $10 USD for a sketch.I found them at a consistently cheap price on eCustomer Service at its Best! ($3 USD for Ciao, $5 USD for Sketch and $6 USD for refill ink).Another place you could check is ebay, where people sell “lots” of any amount. The problem is that most of them use bidding, so the price can get pretty high. Sometimes you get a good deal (I got my first set of 72 ciao markers on ebayf or $67 USD plus shipping)I hope this helps!

Does Michaels sell copic sketch markers/multiliner pens?

In the retail stores? I know they sell those sets of 6, but i just want to get myself an individual black marker for Christmas lol. 1 cost about $8 correct? What about a regular copic multiliner pen? Also, is black a good color to start with? I can't afford a set of any kind... maybe the set of 3 but i doubt michaels has that. And i can't order online because i don't have a bank account or a credit card. I'm only 14 anyway ._. So i was going to buy 1 marker and use that to see if i like the feel of it, and to get comfortable with coloring with it. And if i like it, then i would get a starter set. I was thinking of gettng a black marker. Idk. I also want a copic multiliner pen c: i have about $12 on me right now, but i ws going to use my 50% off any regular priced item. Would that do me anygood? And my parents wont help me pay for anything.

Which are the best cheap alternative to Copic markers in India?

I use Promarkers, they're pretty cheap as far as "quality" markers go and I really like themThey're slightly different from copics (no brush tip, only "hard" tips, dunno if you're okay with that) but I'm happy with the results I get.

What cheap alternatives to Copic markers are the best?

I have the 72 Copic marker set and plus some skin colors I chose on my own. First of all, I would like to suggest you not to get a set. Yes, there are some pretty good colors and it is a bit cheaper than buying them one by one (I think it is like that but not sure so you should check it), however, there are also colors that I have never used to this day. For instance, there is black, and then something called “special black”; and literally, no difference. If you will ever buy comics, choose your own colors.I live in Turkey and the currency we use is Turkish Lira. Dollars has recently been so high, that at the moment I am writing this, 1 dollar is equivalent to 5.59 Turkish liras according to Google. So you could guess, when I first wanted to buy Copics I was hesitant, and the dollar was even lower- so I don’t want to imagine how much they cost now. However, I am so happy I got them. They are really distinct and I believe their cost is actually worth it. I mean, it shouldn’t cost that much but the difference is worth it. Hope I could explain it.Now, with that in mind, onto the alternatives. Before I got Copics, I used Touch Markers. I would definitely recommend them, but I think they are a bit expensive too. So, just pay a bit more and get copics in my opinion. Besides Touch markers, I have used promarkers and Prismacolor markers. Promarkers run out a bit fast but they are quite smooth, and they are very easy to carry on the road. I have also heard people talking about Pantone markers, but never got to try them out.To summarize:Check out - Touch markers-Prismacolor Markers-Promarkers-Pantone markersYou could also watch some videos on Youtube, they are extremely helpful. They show how they look on paper too and show their prices at the time the videos are recorded.

Where i can find copics sketch/prismas markers in Orlando Florida?

If you're looking for graphic art markers you should check out www.MarkerSupply.com. They have the Prismacolors in every color and they also have some other great art markers. My fav are the KureColor Markers, the ink is really opaque. They ship the same day, so you wouldn't have to wait long!

Copic Marker vs. ShinHan Touch Markers?

You should be able to find the touch cheaper than $4.

They're both alcohol based and the ink is similar quality.
They are both double tip with the same style tips. I would say touch twin brush is the best.
Both have large array of colors. Touch has hundreds of colors as well as copics.
Copics can be refilled. Touch is supposed to come out with refillable this year (which should make the old ones go on sale).

I would say they are equal to each other. You can actually use them together on the same picture and not notice a difference.

Where to buy copic markers and prismacolor pencils cheap?

I absolutely hate online shopping because when you think you find the best price, the shipping is horrendous.
I recommend going to HobbyLobby (a pretty famous store in the US, however they have a few in Canada too. I live closest to the Niagra Falls one... but that's about 3 hours drive.) I know someone who went there and found a pack of copics for 39.99
Michaels is a also a pretty common store here, and their stuff are pretty cheap since they have a 40% coupon every month ;)

Good luck!
(By the way, I would recommend also checking eBay or even Kijiji)
