Facebook has a mechanism by which you can hide all the posts by a person so that you can have a (near) clutter-free news feed which is filled with items that matter you to the most.So, here is what you have to do:Hover over the friend's name in your newsfeed. Their info will pop up. You will be able to see this:ORVisit the friends profile. Towards the right side,on top of the cover picture, you'll be able to see this:Simply click on the "Following" button, so that it turns into:Voila! From now on, none of this persons posts will appear on your newsfeed.However, if you visit their profile, all of their posts will be visible.The best part: The person whom you unfollow will not be notified about this, nor can they find out if you are actually following him/her or not. Plus, you don't have to unfriend them.!The same method works for Facebook pages as well. ie, you can hide updates from a specific page, while you have still liked the page.
