The term (1) refers to the laws of motion that were
worked out by the 17th-century English scientist (2) .
A mathematical description of the behavior of electrons
inside the atom, developed during the 1920s, is called (3)
This theory of electron behavior was based in part on the
theory, proposed by (4) that particles can have wavelike
properties. Then, in 1927, (5) . proposed, in his (6) , that
it ii impossible to know simultaneously both the precise
location and the precise velocity of an electron. One can
state only the (7) or chance of finding an electron at a
particular place at a particular time.
Letters and numbers are used to identify the energy level
of an electron in an atom. The symbol n stands for the (8)
Each energy level represented by n has sublevels indicated
by the Letters, s, p, d, and f. Each such sublevel contains one
or more (9) , which are regions of space in which an
electron of a certain energy may be found.
The lowest energy state of an atom is called its (10) . The
outermost principal energy level is called the (11) .Atoms
are said to be in a(n) (12) when one or more electrons are
in a(n) (13) higher than the ground state. When an electron
in an excited atom falls to a lower energy level, (14) is
emitted whose energy is equal to the energy difference
between the higher and lower energy levels. When the
radiation emitted is visible, a line of color will appear in the
(15) of the element. The arrangement of the electrons in
the various levels and sublevels of an atom may be written
out in the form of a(n) (16) .

Does all the questions come from ncert exercises in chemistry 12 boards?

Almost all the questions in CBSE Board examinations come from NCERT textbooks. But this does not mean that the questions will come only from NCERT exercises. This is applicable to all the subjects and not just chemistry. The questions are designed so as to test your knowledge of various concepts and hence are not the exact copy of exercise-questions. You will be able to answer them only when you go through and understand all the chapters in the book. Since NCERT books are concise, sometimes certain reference books can also be helpful. You should solve practice papers to get an idea about the type of questions asked in the examination. You can get accurate information about the subject-specific study materials and previous years’ papers instantly at https://www.toppr.com/boards/cbse/. If you are clear with your basics, it would help you in the long run (for entrance exams). I am giving the list of books for chemistry some of which you can refer to for your Board exams:· NCERT Textbook (is a must)· NCERT Solutions by Arihant· Pradeep’s New Course Chemistry· Modern’s ABC for ChemistryAlso understand the fact that only getting marks is not important; always study with the motive that you want to understand the topic and then you would realize that only doing the exercises is not enough.Hope this helps. All the Best!

How many questions can I get wrong on the SAT II chem and still score a 800?

Here’s my SAT Chem story. So I was working through the problems and as I went through, leaving some questions blank that I wasn’t sure about to come back to later. Turns out that I have awful time management so right as I’m about to turn back and deliberate on the blank questions, time is called.This is bad. Really bad. At this moment, I’m thinking that I’m going to need to retake this one.July comes around, and somehow, miraculously, I got an 800. So there’s the answer to your question. Just relax and don’t overthink it and I’m sure you’ll do great!

Which is the best objective book for practicing mcqs for chemistry for NEET & AIIMS?

PROPER STRATEGY AND PROPER BOOKS ARE THE KEY TO SECURE A GOOD RANK IN NEETNCERT IS A MUST FOR CHEMISTRY AND PHYSICS AS WELL. AT THE END OF THIS ANSWER I HAVE SUGGESTED A WAY HOW TO DO IT.Now coming to particular subjects -CHEMISTRY : PHYSICAL CHEMISTRY- solve all the examples given in ncert. I repeat DO solve them. They come as it is in exam or with some changes in numerical values only. For physical chemistry you can go for MTG guide it increases your accuracy. Do make a formula note copy and write all of them there so that you can revise them anytime you want.INORGANIC CHEMISTRY - be thorough with ncert. Then do your coaching material and learn each and everything. It is enough. Now take MTG guide and start practising questions and be confident. MAKE A FILE AND WRITE ALL THE REACTIONS GROUP WISE IN IT. MAKE PHOTOCOPY OF IT AND DO THOSE FILL IN THE BLANKS ONCE EVERY WEEK.ORGANIC CHEMISTRY - if your concepts are clear and you don't have to go through the mechanism then just do it from your coaching module. Now practise questions from help book i suggest GRB by O P TANDAN. It will clear all your concepts amd still if you lack then just do the same chapter from GRB it has all the mechanism examples exception.PHYSICS - read ncert first. Now read your coaching module line to line focusing on every trick and formula and its derivation and specially the concepts. NOTE DOWN FORMULAS SHORT CUTS IN YOUR NOTECOPY LIKE YOU DID FOR CHEMISTRY. Solve MTG now, each question is different in its own and it has 7–15 questions on single concepts. You may go for universal physics and practice one question for one kind of topic. Now if you have a clear hand on physics or you have keen interest then go for HC VERMA AFTER MTG (universal physics is an option ).REVISE YOUR FORMULA COPY AS MUCH AS YOU CAN. NOTE ALL SHORT CUTS YOU FOUND HELPFUL IN YOUR PRACTISE TESTS AS WELL.While reading ncert, First make a thorough reading of the chapter with understandings. Then mark the assertion reason on it and specially where you find BECAUSE OR DUE TO while you are reading, this will help you in aiims exam. During last days all you have to do is to just go through them.DON'T GO FOR SO MANY ADVISES STICK TO ONE BEST ACCORDING TO YOU. OTHERWISE YOU WILL END UP MESSUPING.

Need help with Chemistry fill in blank chart?

I have most of them already filled in just want to reassure I'm doing it right. Not sure how to do the ones with pos. and neg charges or if they are the same symbol but have different mass number

One that I have is
CU-copper-60 atomic#29, mass# 60, charge0, #proton29,#neutron31,#electrons29 Did I do it right?
HELP
K with 41mass#19atomic# what is the charge,#protons,neutrons,electrons

K with 41mass#19atomic#+1 In this one and the one above does the atomic number or mass number change? also in this one what would the charge be alone with the #protons,neutrons,electrons?

Another one given only gave me 7protons,7neutrons,10electrons, I need to know what the symbol is atomic#,mass number, and charge.

Any help is good. Im taking online chemistry and just need a little help with these few and can figure out how to do the rest of them. Thanks very much.

URGENT! Chemistry Test! Base and Acid!?

Ok, you're off to a good stard. pH + pOH = 14.

You know that [OH] 7.6x10^-2.

p[OH] = - log[OH]

p[OH] = - (-1.2)

p[OH] = 1.2

Now, solve for pH.

pH + pOH = 14
pH + 1.2 = 14
pH = 14 - 1.2
pH = 12.8

So, it's a base.

[H] = antilog (-pH)
[H] = 1.4x10^-13

Hope this helps.

Has anyone ever failed in their CBSE class 12 chemistry board examination despite filling the copy?

I have given my boards last year. See my condition was same it was yours. The thing was I studied something else and in the paper it came something else. I attempted only 15 marks question correctly and confidently within 1 hour and I had 2 hours left to do nothing. So for 5 minutes I thought that if I attempt all the remaining questions of 55 marks am going to get at least something better than nothing. So that 2 hours I wrote each and every answer related to that topic and concept. Believe me when I got my results I got overall 66/100 and out of 70 scored around 38 something.If you have attempted all the questions then don't worry you would pass the exams very well.P.S.- My handwriting was good which would have impressed the checkers who would have corrected my answer sheet.
