Chest Pain- Should I Be Worred

Should I be worried about my left side chest pain? I'm 17 and often feel it. It has been 6 months now.

Yes!! You’re seventeen! You should not have chest pains! That being said, it’s unlikely to be a heart attack, but still not something to ignore!!

Should I be worried about severe chest pain after drinking a sip of Coca-Cola?

There are muscles in your mouth and throat that are supposed to be able to separate air from liquid before you swallow, sometimes these can become inactive or poorly functioning for various reasons, but usually people suffer from it because they're drinking too hastily and not paying attention.. This is because of numbness around the throat and mouth area which happens from not brushing/flossing enough, you know how teenage boys have been known to shovel down food, well, the reason their throat isn't irritated by it is because it's lost sensitivity and most boys don't brush well at that age.

Boys however also have a mechanism which is used to get rid of extra air pockets in their gut/throat, the disgusting habit that most people shun others for is actually useful when their throat isn't separating liquids from gasses, belching.. And since you, like most other girls probably don't burp all too often, your throat's sealed shut after swallowing food which would make a very excruciatingly painful experience if you accidentally got some air pockets in there. Along with this, males have a bigger build and more room for their organs to play ball, when there's a pocket of air in their throat it won't have nearly as much effect as on someone with a 20 inch waistline.

However it might not be that and it may also not be a heart problem, you have a lung over your heart, so if you feel pain like that it's most likely the lung, because heart pain would make it difficult to stand or would be otherwise fatal very quickly (unless it was caused by pressure).

I'll drop an article link below to help calm you down about heart problems, if you read it carefully and apply some form of it in your typical diet expect to have a healthy love muscle for many many years, so it won't be the first thing that comes to mind when you feel some chest pain.

Should I be worried about chest pain when riding a roller coaster?

I've loved roller coasters since I was a child. I have ridden them all my life with no problem, both when I was thin and when I had gained weight. I'm bigger now but had ridden them with no issue until a few years ago. That happens to be when I started smoking. I hadn't been on a roller coaster after I started smoking until this incident. When I went on it I wound up getting a lot of shortness of breath and chest pain which caused a small panic attack because it was a completely different feeling from any other time I had ridden one. (And I had been on that particular roller coaster many times in my life.)

What I want to know is does anyone know if this is a normal thing for smokers, or if this is something that could be serious that I should look into? I'm going to an amusement park tomorrow and am looking forward to riding the roller coasters again, but I don't want to ride them if I know it could be unsafe for me to do so. I'm hoping that the pain I experienced was just a one time thing (as I haven't been on one since) and that it's nothing to worry about and just happened because I am now a smoker and have asthma because of it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Serious answers only please! I can't afford to go ask a doctor so this is my last resort. Thanks!
