How does one overcome fear of getting older?

One can do so by resolving to take one day at a time and live his/her life to the fullest at present.I've experienced this affliction myself, and, to be honest, I can't say that I've fully eradicated it, but experience helps.I'm 27 years of age right now. When I was in my early teens, I was always "afraid" of the perceived responsibilities of someone in his/her late teens going to college, university or full-time work. And yet, I entered those previously-dreaded late-teens, and I was fine. When I was in my late adolescence, I was always "afraid" of the perceived responsibilities of adulthood, especially when I considered 20 to be the age when all of the fun stops and one must become very serious about his/her career and life.Well, my early 20s came. I had a blast. However, when I was in my early 20s, I was always "afraid" of...Well, you get the point. I don't think I need to repeat varying accounts of my fear of getting to a certain age and dealing with the perceived pressures and responsibilities of being that age. You're going to get older anyway, whether you like it or not. There will always be expectations as to what someone who is 20, 30, 40, 50, 60...should do.It doesn't matter. Focus on what you need to do today to feel happy and fulfilled.Tomorrow will inevitably come, as well as the day after that, and so on, and so forth. But, the point is to focus on what you need to do today in order to prepare for tomorrow and ensure that you have no regrets.Today, I'm somewhat concerned about what will happen to me when I turn 30, and all of the perceptions of responsibilities, as well as the attenuation or decline of my cognitive and physical abilities, that come along with being in one's thirties. But I'm going to be 30 anyway. Nothing I can do about that. However, I need to ensure that I'm focused on what I need to do at present so that I'm prepared to be the best 30 year old I can be.To me, that's the best way to mitigate the fear of getting older: living and working in the present, and preparing for the future with a constructive mindset.Oh, and please, please, p-l-e-a-s-e...don't forget to have an absolute blast along the way.Hope that helps a bit. Best of luck to you.

Very upbeat singers/songs from the 30's, 40's, and 50's, like Sinatra?

Does anyone still listen to "old" music?

i'm a teen and i love "old" music lol :) i like lots of music from the 60s 70s 80s 90s and some very very early 00s and almost nothing of today's music. is this normal? hahaha i'm sure this isn't a phase because i know what i like and i don't like things just because my friends like it or don't like it. I might not "truly" like the artists because i only like a couple songs from them but i usually listen to more and more of their music so i end up "truly" liking them.
some of my favorite artists are:
the beatles/some of the songs after they broke up and went their ways
michael jackson/Jackson 5
the police
coldplay (well its kinda new)
taylor swift (only some of her music lol don't judge mee)
colbie caillat (yes shes kinda new)
the fray (kinda new)
phil colins
jason mraz (kinda new)
sara bareilles (kinda new)
journey
green day (kinda new)
ABBA
BeeGees (yes i do haha)
theres a chinese song that's like the song "We Are The World" and in translation it means "Tomorrow Will Be Better" it's called 明天会更好
bob dylan
Simon & Garfunkel
The Eagles
Kenny Loggins
U2
Stevie Wonder
Lionel Richie
Daughtry (kinda new)

i'm sure theres more lol but do you have any suggestions on any different bands/artists for me?

oh and please say if you're another teen that loves old music too (i feel alone at my school lol everyone likes "today's" music like justin bieber or lady gaga or miley cyrus and whatnot. i don't mind those people but i don't listen to them lol.
