Chronic Headache/migraine- What Could It Be

Chronic migraines? Is this bad?

Chronic headaches of any kind are not a sign of anything good. Get them checked to rule out any serious and possibly treatable problem.
For alternative ideas on dealing with this, see Encyclopedia of Natural Medicine, and Prescription for Natural Cures. Both are full of good ideas, info, and useful suggestions.
Some people get good migraine help from drinking monavie juice.

Week long headache/migraine?

I used to get migraines, the 1st one lasted 14 hours. I hardly get headaches, but I noticed when I was abusing with hair dye & perms, that's when I was getting them, and now I get one or none a year.

My mechanic get migraine headaches that last for a week. He is stressed out a lot, but I'd imagine, since he's around toxic everyday . . . .

My niece had a bad migraine, when she started using fake nails. Nail polish for ex: The EPA has designated toluene as hazardous waste; this chemical solvent can cause headaches, eye irritation and memory loss. Gel can harm your nerves.

Chemicals in the body, or just around you can trigger a migraine.

Any of those around you?

I'm a 14 year old boy and with severe Chronic Headache/Migraines.?

Hi. My name is Alec.
I'm a 14 year old boy, and I have severe chronic headaches/migraines. I'm not sure which ones I have. My headaches last anywheres from 2 days to 2 weeks. I get my headaches on the top of my head, and I have no symtoms before I get one, except sometimes I get overly tired. I have my headaches almost every day. Sometimes, I have 1 or 2 days a week without a headache.
My headaches started Nov. 2011 right after my tonsils and adenoids were taken out in Oct. I have tried a number of meds right when I get the migrane, and daily meds. They haven't helped at all. I've also tried a number of non-medical treatments also. I have tried no msg, no caffeine, no gluten, acupuncture, chiropractor, and many other things.
School has been really stressing me out because I have been missing so much of my freshman year. I go to an all boys military christian school. I'm afraid I'm gonna have to repeat the year.

Please, someone just give me some suggestions on what to do, cause I don't know what the hell to do anymore.

.-.

How do I reduce headaches/migraines?

Simple Mudra Breathing:There can be more than 300 reasons for migraines medically speaking. Everything from allergy, indigestion, lack of sleep, alcohol, heat, cold, eye defects, fever, infections, constipation, spicy foods, even fasting, loud noise, etc., can cause headaches.Practicing the following is an easy way to reduce headaches, to wake up early, to concentrate better in studies, to remember better, to reduce weight, etc.The easiest solution I have taught to thousands of people already as a Yoga Trainer is as follows:Sit in Vajrasana - the position of kneeling, sitting with legs folded and knees touching each other, hips on seat between heels and elbows touching the body.Practice this for 2 Weeks, twice a day, and check if your headache is reduced or not and get back to me. If helpful, you can continue this throughout your life.ADI MUDRA: Thumb below the little finger, folding other four fingers over the thumb, both Palms facing down, to be kept on the lap.Holding the Adi mudra position, take deep breath: inhale slowly, inhale fully: exhale slowly, exhale fully. Do this for 2-3 min with eyes closed.RULES TO BE FOLLOWED COMPULSORILY:If you have taken heavy food, you need to do this mudra yoga only 3 hours later. If taken tea or coffee, 1 hour later. On empty stomach, you can do this in the morning for 5 min. You might feel vomiting sensation if done on fully stomach. To do this type of mudra yoga breathing, your nostrils must not be blocked by cold. You can do this only if both nostrils are open and you can breath normally.DO THIS IN A CLEAN AND DUST & SMOKE - FREE place only.A major change in life such as Early to bed and early to rise can help you keep healthy.BENEFITS OF PRANAYAMAReduced headachesReduction of sleepIncrease in energyBurning of excess fatIncrease in concentrationIncrease in memoryReduction in stressLustrous skinLonger life, etc. just to quote a few.You can refer to the full version for higher results at the below link:Mudra Breathing and Simple Meditation by Anil A. Does anyone get headaches or migraines when they go to work?

About 90% of the time I go to work, I get real bad headaches to the point of dizziness. I'm just fine before I go to work but once I clock in and get on a register(I'm a cashier) my head goes to banging terribly. I was just wondering if anyone else has experienced something similiar, and what could be the cause of this?

Can allergies cause headaches/Migraines?

I have bad allergies and if I don't take anything for them I end up getting a bad headache or migraine. It only happens when I don't work be uses they have allergy meds and i don't because can't afford them. It also only happens when my eyes are all dry and itchy from the allergies. Is it most likely the allergies that are causing these headaches?? I try taking a basic pain reliever for the headaches but it doesn't do anything
