Cia Admits Obama Is An Radical Islamic Enemy Of America. Isnt That Called Treason

Why were Navy SEALs selected for the raid on Osama's compound in Pakistan? Wouldn't the Army Rangers or Delta Force have been a better option?

A lot of it was likely political. The guy Leon Panetta went to with the possibility of taking on this mission was Admiral McRaven the commander of JSOC (joint special operations command) and a Navy SEAL. Rangers are definitely not the right force for a small surgical strike like this and the SEALs were doing this kind of operation every day in Iraq and Afghanistan so they were potentially the most elite unit with the most experience at this kind of operation. Of course the Admiral was predisposed to pick ST6 over Delta. Just luck of the draw though timing and availability might factor into any decision like this.I don’t know nearly as much about Delta force as I do about the SEALS and to a lesser extent the Rangers. On the day Osama Bin Laden was killed the SEALs were actually deployed to more than 10 other locations doing exactly the same type of operation. The entire time we were in Afghanistan and Iraq there was such a high op tempo that today’s SEAL’s have more combat experience than at any other time in their history. When ever there’s a high profile mission the services jockey for a piece of the action, it’s almost inherent in the nature of the beast. You have these elite warriors trained to a razors edge and during moments of peace there’s often little opportunity to unleash them so everyone wants to show what it can do. It leads to some unfortunate circumstances but that’s just the reality of politics. The “Captain Phillips story” never mentions that Obama wanted to use the FBI HRT team to handle the situation (reportedly because of some distrust he had with the military) but the SEALs are better prepared to deploy and the SEALs can additionally parachute at night into the ocean and be picked up by a small boat from the Navy ships on scene which the HRT isn’t prepared for and allowed the SEALs to get to the fight unannounced to the pirates.

Why won't the Democrats accept defeat?

Allow me to clarify the answer by what you are asking. Are you asking why won’t Democrats accept defeat because the Republicans candidate won and the Democrats lost?It is the constitutional right of free speech and the responsibility of that party that allows Democrats to protest a president in whom they do not believe to be in the best interest of the US.Please understand that Democrats are not speaking out because of their loss but because they believe that a man like Donald Trump, who has unethical business practices and has made statements that are both racist and misogynist. (At least look up his business practices where he’s been sued 3,500 times, Legal affairs of Donald Trump - Wikipedia). I could provide other links on the other issues, but so many people on Quora have done the same, I am not going to waste my time. Therefore, Democrats protest Trump being in office because he does not exemplify the ideology of a president that is unselfish (Trump has employed his family and his supporters in positions of power at the cost of US citizens, can anybody say Nepotism?) or a person who is trustworthy and not biased and a person who understands the constitution. (Did your parents come to the US on the Mayflower? If not, then Presidents following Trump’s rule would possibly not allow you to immigrate to the US based on religion, race or the color of your skin.) What many people don’t understand is that the US Constitution does not apply to only to those living in the US, but those who want to immigrate as well. US is a melting pot of immigrants. (If you are thinking about the wall, then, Hispanics are the major farm workers across the US in jobs at a low pay that most US citizens would not accept. Look this movie up, A Day Without a Mexican.)Or are you asking why don’t the Democrats accept defeat because the Presidency, the Senate and the House majority are Republican? It’s because the pendulum swings both ways. We elect a Democrat then Republican then Democrat then Republican. The tides turn based on the performance and that decides which way the pendulum will swing.Based on Trump’s performance so far (looking at the headlights and waiting for the head-on car crash) I think the pendulum will swing the other way, but, hey, I could be wrong. Let’s just wait and see.
