Clock Is Clicking . I Need Help Now Choosing My Major Before Graduation

Many school counselors will suggest that you can decide your major by participating in a simple online quiz…Since I don’t trust an online quiz to accurately sort me into the correct Hogwarts House, I certainly do not trust a simple quiz to determine my major. Finding your passion is more personal than answering a couple of questions. Here are two uncommon methods that can help you decide on a field of study. Method 1: Finding Where a Major and Your Passion Intersect. A)  Write down a list of 7 things that you do for fun.Write down some of your hobbies. This list can include anything. Example: reading, video games, biking, shopping, etc. B)  Now that you have written down 7 hobbies, circle three of your favorite C)  Write down a list of specific careers that are required in order to make this hobby possible.  Do any of these jobs sound interesting to you?Example: Careers related to videogames; programmer, publicist, writer, engineer, etc. D)  Circle the jobs that sound interesting to you and find out what skillset is required in order to obtain those jobs. Then find the major that teaches that specific skillset.Example: For a writer, you would get an English Major. For a programmer you would get a Computer Science Major.   Method 2: Listening to a Professional with your Major A)  Create a LinkedIn account, and find a professional who is currently working in a field that you may be interested in.I know this seems awkward, but you’d be surprised how receptive working-adults are to students B)  Ask them specific questions about their day-to-day experiences in this particular field of work.Example: What does a typical day look like for you? Was there something that surprised you about this profession? How much time do you spend talking with other people as opposed to working alone? C)  If you think that the day-to-day activities seem to match your personality, then pursue a major that teaches you to specialize for that particular job.  Finding a major that you love gives you an unfair academic advantage. This is because when you have fun, it makes studying tolerable…maybe even exciting.

Really think about what you want to do once you graduate. Don't get pressured into college just because everyone else is going and society looks down upon you if you don't go.I'm not saying to not go to college, if that's what you really want to do and are ready to put in the work/effort then by all means go for it. Also try and major in something you're going to genuinely enjoy. Finding the balance between a useful degree and a degree you actually like is key. After all, no one likes a career they hate every day and eventually it will catch up to you.If you're not 100% certain you want to put in the work and effort college requires then DON’T go. Don't put yourself into debt if you know you're not going to give it your all. You've just been in school for around 12 years or so, take a little bit of time off, perhaps get a job and just relax. Some people don't want to jump right back into education right away and that's ok. College isn't going to pick itself up and walk away, it's always going to be there. If you're interested in becoming self employed and perhaps starting a business then go for it as well. Don't be afraid of failure and don't get discouraged if things don't go as expected or start off slow. If it doesn't work out then at least you tried doing something you actually wanted to do.

OCD, Trich, and Depression...?

Luckly this is a great solution for premature ejaculation http://EndPrematureEjaculation.enle.info...

A guy always cums fast when its their first time. and especially if he's been waiting for a long time. Guys are erect at least 5 times a day so what I would do is some foreplay until he ejaculates or the both of you for that matter its not fair that he has orgasms and you don't so get him to do you first and then once you finish he will be more than ready for his orgasm. then use a condom because that cuts down the sensations for him if he feels he is about to come prematurely then tell him to come out and do some more foreplay on you so he has time to calm down. the condom should work but if you want a baby tell him to take the condom of before ejaculation and then finish in you. the longer you wait to make him come with foreplay the quiker it will be because he has to get it out of him.

He also does need time because you are the only one he has been with so once he gets used to it, you can really enjoy it once he gets his techniques down pat. Tell him what you like. Get some books and videos also until you both are experienced. Or you could even have a quickie in the morning, when you get home and then at night. he will diffently last longer because his mind has been free twice already. You get on top of him and you control the situation. Also my boyfriend tells me that he thinks about none sexual things for a while to help control him, tell him to think about a sport or something that calms him. If that doesn't work then just do IT over until you are satisfied

What makes you say that you are not "good at programming?"Is it "imposter syndrome?" Have you bombed a couple software engineering interviews (but then, at what companies)? Do you just have low grades? If so, then ask yourself why - you can't seem to wrap your head around it? It's boring? Is there just some aspect of CS you don't feel confident in, so therefore you think you aren't good overall? Dig a little deeper before giving up!There are tons of different roles out there that involve tons of types of programming. Even if you aren't the brightest engineer to walk the face of the earth, a degree in CS can take you a lot of places. For just one of many possible examples, many tech companies prefer their product managers have technical backgrounds. Also, consider the reputation of your school's CS program - if it's relatively unknown and you aren't doing well, this is another pretty good reason to switch because it'll probably land you in a boring, low end job.But at the end of the day, do you love it? If yes, you'll find yourself putting in the time to get better (or more confident). If not, you won't and should switch (especially if you have other interests you could happily pursue).

I will be talking about some practical tips especially for international students who intend to stay in the US for jobs post-grad. These are things that I really wish someone had told me when I started college. Major in whatever you are passionate about: FALSE. People always say, in college, follow your passion, do what your love. In an ideal world this is all true but international students can be constrained. If you eventually would want to get a job and apply for the H1B work visa, especially if you are working in tech, an English Literature degree or a neuroscience degree would create a lot more obstacle than a Computer Science degree and delay the visa application process. Additionally, STEM (Science, technology, engineering, mathematics) majors would have a 17-month extension period on OPT to stay in the States before you get the work visa (although this may be repealed after Feb, 2016 and is under review now). Science and humanity majors are treated quite differently under the current immigration system. This does not necessarily mean that you should give up majoring in humanity or social science, but at least keep this in mind before it is too late to switch major. Budget your internship time well. Normally, accumulating internship experience is great! But.. for international students the clock starts ticking when you start working. You have a total of 12 months (or 29 months, again, depend on your major) OPT period to stay in the States to work before you are at the mercy of the infamous H1B lottery. Say, you do a three-month internship each summer in the States during college. By the time you graduate, your OPT has only 3 months left -- not enough to sustain you till the H1B lottery season in April. Whoops. Noted though, many universities do allow you to use CPT for internship, which does not cut into your OPT time. This would avoid the problem. Apply to internship and jobs early. For citizens, they get an offer; they pack their bags and go to the job as early as the next day. Simple. Yet we have to apply for OPT to get permissions to work, and that can take up to 3 months. That means, you do need to be proactive and plan early. Get a credit card early. Chances are unlike your classmates, your parents did not hand you a credit card (from a US bank at least) before you leave home. It is generally good to start building up credit scores early on. Not to mention, many credit cards have mileage plans that may earn you a free plane ticket home!
