Collecting Star Wars Novels As In E-books Or As Printed Book

Star Wars Novel torrents?!?!?

You can find them on most of the p2p sites, Frostwire being the "safest" at the moment.

One thing to say about the book versions of ep IV - ep VI ... they suck with ROTJ being the worst of the 3 but only by a small margin over the book version of ep IV. You might think it's because of all the changes made to the story line with the info from the prequels but it's not. The one for ep V is the only one worth reading and even then it doesn't follow the movie very well and doesn't fit with the new version of the movie. The novel version of ep VI has been bad from the very beginning ... lots of stuff in the book that doesn't make sense with the story of the movie especially Anakin's death scene ... the book butchers that beyond belief. It boggles the mind because one of the many ways that Star Wars is different from other movie sagas is that the books were written about the movies not the normal movie being made from a book.

Now ... all that being said the novel version of the prequels, ep I - ep III, are first rate and the novel version of ep III is pretty much required reading if you want to know all the things going on in the back ground during the movie. The book was written by Matt Stover and he has a very, very, VERY dark kind of writing style and he was the perfect person to tell the story of Anakin's fall to the dark side in print. One of the major things that the books sheds light on is why Yoda walked away from his fight with Palpatine. It wasn't because he lost ... you'll have to read the book to find out why.

Another thing to mention is that I find a lot of the Star Wars books that are on any of the sites are in the format for Micro Softs ebook reader. If they have .lit on the end of the file then that is what they are. The ebook reader is a free download from Micro Soft.

May The Force Be With You ...

PS: I have about 85% of all the Star Wars books in either MS Word format, Adobe format, and MS ebook reader format. I'd be more than happy to send them to you if you message me with your email address.

Star Wars e-books?? Thrawn Trilogy?

I've got over 100 of the books of the Star Wars EU in MS Reader, MS Word, & .pdf form including the Thrawn Trilogy and many of the others in the New Republic Era.

You can sometimes find them on the p2p's and torrents as some one else suggested but make sure you have a good anti-virus program because they are cesspools of spy-ware and viruses.

Drop me a message with you email address and I'd be more than happy to email them to you.

What is the font that they use IN star wars books?

Since you asked what the Star Wars font was because you liked it and not for a lecture on why you shouldn't use it, here... check these websites out:

http://www.galacticempire.net/fonts/

then there is also
http://www.typenow.net/themed.htm but these 2 seem to be more from the movies (numbers 126 and 127)

While I've read approaching 70 Star Wars novels I for the life of me can't remember what the fonts look like lol hopefully one of the fonts in the first link is what you were looking for.
