Confusion Regarding Budget

Budget Percentage? Confused?

For problems 1–3, determine what percent of the total budget each budget item would be.

1. Housing costs are $630.00; total budget of $3,100.00

2. Food expenses of $450.00; total budget of $3,000.00

3. Clothing expenses of $800.00; total budget of $7,000.00

I have to buy a phone and my budget is 15,000. I am confused between Xiaomi Mi 4i and Moto G (2nd gen). How can I make my mind set for a particular one?

I was in the same situation a month ago. So what did i do? I ordered both, one for myself and other for my dad.First and foremost I would say its upto you as to what are your own requirements and needs.Mi 4i gives you everything a high end phone has to offer. be it 2 GB of RAM, full HD display, 1.7Ghz Octacore processor with an amazing camera quality of 13MPs(rear) and 5MP(front). The user interface is good too but it'll take you sometime to adjust to it if you are a first time Xiomi user. The speaker's volume is comparitively lesser than other phones but it again is upto you if you actually are more of a speaker listener or a earphone user. Earphones aren't included with this phone but the ones you'll get with Moto G2 are equally useless. So in either case you got to get yourself a nice pair of earphones arranged (if you feel the need, of course). Comparing Moto G2 with Mi 4i, the first thing i observed was camera quality. Mi 4i has a much much better camera (both front and rear) than the Moto G2's camera. Mi also has dual LED which actually won't make a huge difference but it's good to show off a unique thing though. Then screen resolution in Mi is pretty much better than Moto G2. the hardware is definitely better in Mi as it has OctaCore processor and a better GPU. But it will make a difference only if you are heavy gamer. If you prefer games like Subway surfers then Moto G2 will be better as it produces lesser heat because of more optimized software and a less aggressive processor. Also sound of Moto G2's speakers is much better and since they are on front they do make a difference for the betterment. Also Moto G2 has an option of additional Memory Card which is absent in Mi 4i.But it is upto you as to what are your own requirements. If you aren't a heavy gamer and clicks a nominal amount of photographs with your phone and are inclined with a more user friendly, easy to use interface with more utilities then go for Moto G2.On the other hand, if you are inclined towards a better screen resolution and a better camera along with more customization for gaming and a different interface from the regular Android interface, go for Mi4i.As of which one did i choose for myself, i am using Mi 4i and am more than with its performance, looks, camera and many other things. Also my dad is having a great experience with Moto G2 as he says it is "best customized" for him.

My budget is 9.5K for a smartphone and I am extremely confused about which one to buy. Yu Yureka has a lot of issues. What is a suggestion for another well-built and high performance phone with a good camera?

Moto g (2nd GEN)

What's the difference between a budget that is the black vs one in the red?

In the black means you have money.
In the red means you've overspent....the red referring to the red ink used to denote negative amounts.

Budget line of 'bads'?

-vely sloped, ask urself why not truncated distinct points(the possible soln..); b'coz analyticlly, u may buy bad and consume bad , this can also be visualised as threshold consumption of bads now each unit of money buys good(or say composite commodity) bundled with bad(or say costs to avoid it) say goin thru eve teasing vs. watching a movie in evening, analytically it's same(b'sides by defn. budget lines or constrains r -vely sloped) analytically both r same but a point ha sinfin slope, but there r advantages of drawing full fledged lnes for analysing bads, which r bundled with goods, else no util. satisfying consumer would(note general axiom of revealed pref. is violated) , so as u rightly had it i.c.'s r +vely sloped. , b.c' s r -vely sloped the max amount of each good money can buy(or force out)

I am really confused about buying a Nikon or Canon camera. My budget is approximately 50k and I need a camera that can take portraits as well as photos of indoor weddings functions, nature, low light situations and video. Which DSLR model meets all these requirements?

Consider the local market. How easily are the lenses and accessories available? Where is the service center located? Base your decision on this.Remember, camera is just a tool. The photographs are made by the person behind the camera. The quality of your photographs will depend on how well you use whatever camera you buy. This article might interest you - Nikon or Canon?

I am about to buy a car & my budget is 10 lakh which is a bit stretchable. I am confused between the Honda City and the Maruti Suzuki Ciaz. The Ciaz's engine is not that powerful but comes with a lot of features under my budget. Which should I choose?

I will tell you my view on both: Design: I hate the looks of Honda City; too much chrome and out of proportions. Ciaz looks like a gentleman from a distance and has poise. Also the interior of Ciaz is more symmetric and pleasing to the eye. Honda city's dash is a bit too off for my taste and also the plastics are cheap.Engine:I will not be telling you the technical output; find all that from the net or the brochures, but I will tell you here Honda is the outright winner in this section. The engine is more powerful and eager to be driven as compared to the Ciaz, which also is slower in terms of acceleration from start. Drive:The Ciaz has a more sophisticated feel to itself while the city is a more nimble and fun proposition. Do test drive both the cars to check what you prefer to drive. Also, the ciaz is more for a cruise at steady speeds while the Honda City would perform well in the city traffic and on highways as well. Ciaz has a better and more roomier back seat when compared to the Honda City.So this is my review of both the cars in brief. Set your priorities and choose accordingly. P.S. - Ciaz has more mileage than the City obv :P

I am about to buy my first Android phone. I am confused between Asus Zenfone 2 Laser, Moto G (3rd Gen), Mi 4i and Redmi 2 (16gb). My budget is 10k-12k. Any suggestions?

Best bet would be moto g3(2 GB ram) model. Since it checks all mentioned usage scenario stated in your question.Since I've used moto g3 and zenfone laser for relatively long time. Moto g3 holds up pretty well and this one should be first one amongst all the stated phones to receive marshmallow update. And there are no lags whatsoever in any one of the devices but after few processor intensive tasks moto g3 held up pretty well. And it runs on stock android which anyway will keep lags and stutters at bay.Hope this helps.--Happy multitasking
