I saw the surgeon for a follow up already and I didn't tell him about it because I didn't know I was constipated yet.

How many months should I wait to go to the gym after an appendix surgery?

Being someone who hits the gym 6 days a week and who's been through an appendix surgery, I suggest you stay away from the gym for atleast 3 months. You can start after 2 months but why take the risk? I know you'll have food restrictions for the first few weeks after surgery which will weaken you. It takes time to get back to form. After 3 months start gradually with body weight, floor and free exercises. Give it a good 2 to 3 weeks. Then start weight training. Again, do not lift like there's no tomorrow. Take it easy and you'll be back in form in the following couple of weeks. Good luck!
