Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo Installation Help

Does the Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO come with thermal paste?

Yes it does. Pretty much every CPU cooler confess with some thermal compound. Though some people but other compounds for the relatively small cooling performance increase, the average sort of paste you'll get with a cooler is plenty fine to use.The tube should look like the following and be good for maybe 2–3 applications in case you botch the first, or have to take the heatsink of for whatever reason.

Is the Cooler Master Hyper TX3 Evo a good option for a Core i3 2100, and an ASRock H61M/U353?

i mean it fits, the cooler works with the 2100, and the motherboard will fit the processor but it’s a crap motherboard( it’s the economy of economy models.)i wouldn't really understand the cooler on that cpu as you’d be fine with the stock cooler. and the cpu isn't that good for anything other then web browsing so its not like you need the cooler.you’d be much better off going with a ryzen 3 build using a ryzen 120, and msi tomahawk b350 motherboard, the same cooler would fit on that, and in that case you’d actually have a computer that would perform better and could be used for light gaming and other things.

Will this cpu cooler be compatable? cooler master hyper 212 evo?

My cpu (AMD A10-6800K) is running idle at around 70 degrees celcius. I intend on buying a new cpu cooler and was hoping that you could tell me if the "cooler master hyper 212 evo" would be compatible.
My motherboard is that MSI 2AE0 V1 (MS - 7778 Ver 1.0) wit an FM2 socket.
I also have a AMD radeon R9 380 installed in the pcie x16 slot.
This is all in the stock case. With an upgraded power supply, which doesn't take up any more room. And, I'm not afraid to cut the case to make it fit.
If its not compatible, can you recommend me an upgraded cooler for my cpu under $40.

Apparently hp doesn't answer these questions if your computer is 2 years or older.

How do I install a Coolermaster Hyper 212+?

Very simple.
Remove the stock Intel cooler form your Intel Core i5-2500, clean the CPU heat spreader with rubbing alcohol to completely wipe off any remaining old thermal paste. You should be able to see the metal surface and read the laser engraved CPU data form it. Let it dry for about 15-30 minutes. Apply a pea size drop of new thermal paste, I believe they include original Cooler Master thermal paste. If not, buy Arctic Silver or the Best Buy Dynex brand, about $10 for a 3.5 grams tube, enough for at least 3 processors.

Is Cooler Master's Hyper 212 a good cooler for my i5 9600K?

The Cooler Master Hyper 212 is a very well made cooler, and I did use it in my original PC build before I did some small upgrades. I have an i5–9600k also, and I had been using this cooler with it. It performed good, my CPU stayed at good temperatures while gaming, and I didn’t see a problem with it. A little later though, I realized that even though I had bought a K processor, I had not done any overclocking to my build. Buying a K processor and not overclocking is a waste of money so I overclocked my CPU to 4.9 GHZ. That’s when I was not able to use this cooler anymore. I upgraded to the Corsair H1ooi, which is an amazing cooler for overclocked CPU’s. So basically, the cooler you should use depends on what you are going to do with your computer. If you’re doing small gaming, and no overclocking, then go with the Hyper 212. It will do the job just fine. If you’re into hardcore gaming, and you want to overclock, which you probably will, then go for a higher end cooler, like an AIO.

Hyper 212 evo vs stock cooler = same temps?

There are also a lot of other factors:

1) Is fan control setup. If so, was the online test at the same fan speed you are at?

2) Case cooling differences.

3) room temperature differences.

I wouldn't worry about it. I can tell you that the EVO fan will be far quieter under load so it's a good choice. Here's a few tips:

#1: Make sure fan control is setup properly (fan should spin at maybe 40% and ramp up under load). Use motherboard software from motherboard site.

#2: update motherboard BIOS if not up to date

#3: choose "XMP" then save settings in the BIOS. Probably no reason to overclock further. Even if you consider going further stay at XMP for a while to test stability.

XMP sets an optimized profile for the CPU and your system memory (DDR3)

#4: run MEMTEST for a full pass www.memtest.org

Which is better - cooler master hyper 212 evo cooler vs cooler master tpc 812 cooler?

Honestly, it depend if the CPU cooler can support your motherboard and also the case is big enough to fit that monster in it.
I own Cooler Master Hyper 212, and it is a monster in term of size.
Considering you have a micro atx cabinet, it's NOT going to fit.

There's no point of getting it if your case isn't big unless you buy a bigger case.
Maybe a mid-tower or full tower might work.

I use CM (Cooler Master) Storm Enforcer's case which the Cooler Master Hyper 212 fit perfectly because the width is big enough, lol.

Considering you are going to go after the TPC 812, haha, you'll be struggling.

Either grab a bigger case or don't overclock the CPU nor buy the CPU cooler.

Well, it all depend if you have a budget to buy the TPC 812 and a big case.
To me, Hyper 212 works perfectly just fine because it isn't much a big of deal. Sure it is quieter, more speed, bigger, consume less watt and costly compare to Hyper 212. Hyper 212 still perform quite well.

Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO or CORSAIR Hydro Series H60?

For the case, well both the K62 and 300R Window are good cases so which ever you like better aesthetically you should go with. Personally I really like the 300R Window.

For cooling, in terms of performance air has the edge compared to the pre-filled loops like what Corsair has no matter which you buy, air coolers just simply have more surface area. So on air cooling you could run it quieter and still cool just as well as an H60, so for some people this gives it a huge edge.

But the pre-filled liquid coolers do have their place, they are easier to install, more aesthetically pleasing, and are pretty low-profile so you don't have to worry about them covering your RAM or anything (usually not a problem with the 212 EVO specifically, but thought I'd mention it). If your build has a window, which it does this can be something to think about.

If it were me, I would probably throw something like this in:
Phanteks: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as...

And then switch the i7-3770 to a K series CPU so I can actually overclock it. If you're not overclocking I don't really see the point in purchasing aftermarket cooler, usually you use aftermarket cooling to get aftermarket clock speeds.

Is Cooler Master Hyper 212X fit on my Motherboard? My Mobo is MSI P55 GD65

Sure, it fits LGA 1156, so it'll mount. Remember to check your case clearance though because while you can mount it to the board you still need enough clearance in the case for it.
