You and your mom don't agree is it self one more question and make the situation confusing and difficult to answer. Convince your mom and visit a doc

I hate being sick! do u?

I am sick right now. This fever has been with me the last 3 days. What should I do outside of doing a check-up?

There are lots of flu-like bugs going around these days. You probably need to go to a walk-in clinic or urgent care clinic or ask someone to drive you there. If you have a headache is between your eyes, you have a very sore throat, and a a bit nauseous with white patches on the back of your mouth, you could have strep. Strep only gets worse without a doctors’ care and antibiotic. Before antibiotics it turned into Scarlett Fever and could cause blindness and deafness and other permanent problems. If your throat is sore, I would go get a strep test. Don’t mess with strep. A strep fever is about 101 degrees. If you are going to wait one more day before you go to a doctor, just to see if this passes on its own, have water near your bed or wherever you are spending time. You don’t want to get dehydrated, something that flu-like illness can cause. If you can eat a bit, eat dry white toast with no butter, white rice, room temperature clear soda pop. If you cannot tolerate food, keep pushing water (room temperature) and room temp. 7-up. These will give your GI system a little break from trying to digest greasy, bulky foods, thus prolonging the stomach ailment. Is in your lungs? Could be flu. Did you get a flu shot? Going to the doctor will help. There are anti-viral medications you can take to lessen the severity of the flue. If your fever is high—104+ I would get a friend to take me to the walk in clinic.Otherwise, stay down—even if you are starting to feel better—if you get active too early your forward progress may be compromised. Listen to the doctor. If you have a mom, call her. Talk to her a little while. She will give you sympathy, which you could use. But—plan on getting some medical help soon.

How can I sleep right now even though I'm sick? It's 2am?

When you say “sick”; do you mean vomiting? If you are vomiting and badly you need to find out why; have you eaten something which was under -cooked; or contaminated. If you tummy hurts around your “tummy button” or towards the right hand side near the hip, then I would get yourself to hospital, particularly if you are still trying to vomit on an empty stomach. It could be an appendicitis issues in which case you need to be operated on sooner than later- the last thing you need is peritonitis. The latter can be very dangerous, leading to blood poisoning.I think I would have dialled 911 for an ambulance by now to get yourself to A&E (Emergency Room). If it is an appendix issue, the sooner you get it removed the better.Whilst warm water to clean the throat is OK, don’t drink too much as it may delay the time you can have the operations time. If you do take cooled boiled water and you still vomit, then definitely get your self to hospital.

Can you get sick from crying to much?

That could be why you feel pretty low. Crying is a release of stress hormones, and feeling stressed can make you ill.
Perhaps the build up of stuff that lead to this outburst has made you feel a little run-down.

I hope you feel better soon.

Can You Get Sick Again Right After You Just Recovered from a Cold/ Flu?

Yes, You could get a relapse. There's no natural immunity from the flu and common colds.

Flu viruses affect the respiratory tract and cause headache, runny or stuffy nose (rhinitis); dry, persistent cough; and sore throat. In some cases, cough associated with the flu can last longer than 2 weeks. Influenza also causes systemic symptoms, including the following:

Chills
Extreme tiredness (fatigue)
Fever (usually high)
Malaise (generally feeling unwell)
Muscle aches (especially in the legs and back

Signs and symptoms of common colds may include the following:

runny or stuffy nose
itchy or sore throat
cough congetion
slight body aches
mild fatigue
sneezing, watery eyes, low grade fever up to 102F

Allergy symptoms may include the following:

sneezing
runny nose
itchy throat, nose, roof of the mouth
itchy, watery or red eyes
congestion

Although allergies and colds have similar symptoms, there are some telltale signs that can help you differentiate between them.

In Allergies, there's usually no fever; nasal discharge is watery and clear.; sneezing; rare cough; and the duration usually last weeks to months.

In Colds; there is rarely a fever; nasal discharge is thick and colored; sneezing; and coughing. The duration for the symptoms usually last for a week.

So the flu has a higher fever, more generalized body fatigue, and aches; and the duration for the symptoms last longer.

I can't afford to get sick right now!!! What do I do?! EASY POINTS!?

I've got to work opening shift and closing shift tomorrow morning, and I feel a fever coming on and my throat kills me and I've got a dry cough that hurts like fire in my chest!

On top of this, I've got a biology test tomorrow I've seriously not studied for, because I had no idea until one of the girls said something about it, and I've got statistics homework to do, and I've got an article to write for the paper tomorrow after I get two interviews done (I swear I'm procrastinating doing of this stuff by writing this question), and this stupid editor of mine works me like a dog, and is like, "oh! And make sure you take pictures! Make sure you get a decent pose of them." I just want to be like, "dude? I'm a writer, not a photographer." I've also gotta find time to get to the post office sometime tomorrow...and I've got a sorority thing I must attend...

I'm surviving on those starbucks doubleshot espressos every morning! And they make my mornings a little more happier. Caffine buzz! :)

But I can't get sick!! What should I do?! I need like a miracle pill - anything!!! Easy points for best answer!

How can I test to see if I will get sea sick?

Unfortunately everyone can be susceptible to motion sickness, a disturbance of the inner ear. If you’ve ever gotten motion sickness during a long car trip, that could be an indicator you might be more sensitive to the effect than others. I don’t think there really is a way to test yourself, since just because you’ve never gotten motion sick before doesn’t guarantee you never will. Based on personal experience however, you can make it stop. I’ve gotten sea sick only one time, and it was on my second cruise, after previously completing a full year long deployment cycle with many months of my life already spent living on a little gray boat. By that point I’d figured sea sickness just didn’t apply to me. However, I got it, seemingly out of the blue, while just sitting on a toolbox in the hangar with the other guys, waiting for the maintenance meeting to end so we could receive the night check pass down. Done it a hundred times, but this time awful nausea came out of nowhere and sucker punched me right in the gut. I couldn’t believe it was sea sickness at first since I was a salty, experienced maintainer by this time. However my training kicked in,(ok, I just vaguely recalled some lecture from boot camp on motion sickness) and, after struggling through the pass down, I bounded out to the flight deck and spent about 10 minutes staring out at the horizon, hoping my equilibrium would be restored. It was and, voila! The nausea disappeared as quickly as it came on. Take that for what you will.
