Could I Use My Driver

Can my friend use my car to drive for UberX?

The short answer is yes, your friend can drive for UberX using your car as long as their name is added onto the car’s insurance policy.Adding their name to an existing policy will be cheaper than having them buy their own policy. Your friend could pay you the difference of your new premium cost.Besides the insurance policy, your friend needs to meet UberX’s additional requirements. And of course, your car needs to be eligible to drive for UberX. Most sedans that seat 5 passengers (including the driver) are allowed as long as they pass a vehicle inspection and have in-state registration. But, Uber has varying model year requirements per state. If you would like to read a complete list of requirements for your state, feel free to check out the table here.Requirements for luxury or SUV levels will differ by state as well.

Can I use my back up camera on my driver's test?

Yes, many of my friends have used it, but since, i don't have one and since ive practiced a lot a parallel parking, i wouldn't need one, i live in PA.

Let me rephrase this since all of these people are posting wrong answers

In the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, a student driver may use a rear view camera as a parking assist and only a camera as the only parking assist on the PA DOT DMV exam.

Can I use my Brother License to Drive ?

Well, if you are twins or look REALLY alike then there is chance you can get away with it. Or just have it in the car but be EXTRA cautious when driving for the period of time. Also, if you do get caught, please don't blame your brother (he was kind enough to let you use it) just tell the cop you took it without his permission because either way you will get in the same amount of trouble so at least have one person in trouble rather than two. If the police catches you, you could be fined and your license will be taken away even longer. Just don't get caught lol if you are sure you're a good driver, then take chances if it's the ONLY option. Hope this helped!

Can I use a rental car to take my driving test if I only have my permit but someone else rents the car?

No.Rental car’s can only be driven by people the person or people on the rental agreement and these people have to have a valid license. If you have a permit, you need to have a driver 18+ with youYou’ll need to go with the 18+ licensed driver to the DMV. When you check in for your behind-the-wheel test, the DMV will need to have that other driver present to check his/her driver’s license. The DMV will also check your permit, as well as the cars registration and insurance.OptionsYou can find a friend, parent, or driving school to help out with a car and driver. The person that goes with you will need to have the car registration and car insurance as well as their valid driver’s license.Another option is the company YoGov just started helping with behind-the-wheel tests in the Bay Area. I’ve read a bunch of good reviews about their service and this price seems like a great value considering everything you get. They pick you up, drive with you for an hour to practice and give you tips, take you to the scheduled DMV, check in with you, wait with you while you take the test, then drop you back off.You can Google other options which are mostly localized driving instructors and vary by city to city.Hope this helps!

What drive gear should i use; the first D with the circle around it or the second D without the circle?

that depends on what kind of driving u do and what kind of load your vehicle has. as a general rule just using the one with the circle around it is fine for almost all driving.
since the transmition will automatically shift into overdrive only if your speeds are high enough to support it then there really is no point in not using that position just because u don't need it.
even with city driving people very often do reach speeds high enough to benefit from the use of the overdrive gear (varies with different vehicles, but many cars will use their overdrive gear at speeds as low as 45 or less mph) allowing u to save money by you allowing your vehicle to use it.

Can i use a Uhaul Pick up Truck to take my drivers road test?

After reading the other comments, I would say don't do it. While you could have a friend rent the truck, you and he drive to test area, and you take your road test, but I guess the instructor would know you are not authorized to drive the vehicle. As opposed to a friend or relatives car. Who knows if they would even care or not. Why not just ask someone to drive you to take your test? Offer to fill up their gas tank (lol unless is giant SUV).

Can I use my surround-view camera for my drivers test?

I’m taking my drivers test in PA soon and my car has a 360° view camera. I was wondering if I could use that camera to assist me while taking the test, such as for parallel parking.
