Could My Cat Be Inlove

Why does my cat love my mom more than me?

You didn't do anything wrong at all. Cats and other animals, including my dog, tend to bond more to one person than another. It has nothing to do with love. I am sure the cat loves you just as much as your mother. Like people are saying, it can be a matter of food, the cat sees your mother feed it so its bonded more to her.

It might also be your energy. Cats are sometimes very laid back while younger people have more energy. Trying being calmer around the cat, speaking in a smoother tone and moving less erratically and more smooth. The cat might come around and spend more time with you. Just a thought.

In the end remember the cat loves you just as much!

Does my cat know I love him?

Chances are that he does. Since you wonder, that means that you want him to, and that's always a good sign. But let's break this down because, if you really want to answer that question, you have to evaluate your relationship with your cat. Does your cat meow at you? If he does, he's making an extra effort to communicate with you. If you respond to his meows, he feels good, especially if you've figured out what he wanted. If he doesn't meow at you, don't fret. Our 4 cats meow and make other noises at my daughter, but not very much with me. I'm better at reading their body language (I'd be pretty crappy at my job if I couldn't). I'm always aware of where they are when they're in the same room, and I check them every now and then (just a glance), to see what their body language is telling me. Are they content and feeling sleepy? Maybe that tail is swishing fast, which would mean something isn't okay. Does your cat cuddle with you? If he naps on you at any point, then that's the best indicator that he knows you care for him. He trusts you at his most vulnerable, which means he feels secure when he's with you. That is love.If he doesn't, and he's young (under 3 years), then it could be that he hasn't settled down enough. Teenagers are temperamental, not all of them, but they can be. My 14-month-old will sleep on us sometimes, but not as often as our older kitties. The top way our youngest bonds with us is playing fetch and catch. He knows we like it, and he gets to run off some energy, so it's win-win. I'm also fairly certain that he is of the opinion that he taught us a trick, and he isn't wrong. He was the one who initiated playing fetch and catch. As I said at the beginning, if you love your cat, chances are that he does know, and that the affection is mutual. As long as you continue to meet his needs, and you don't betray his trust, you'll just get closer as time goes on.

How can you tell if your cat loves you?

Cats show love with presentsYour cat brings you toys, insects or dead little animals. But beware, the dead little animals aren’t dead every time. Your cat might expect you to do the final blow. It’s cruel, I know. But that’s how cat love works. Your cat’s cruel presents can be seen as tokens of its undying love for you.Cats show love with painful massagesYour cat sits on you and starts to knead you with its cute little paws to show that it feels happy and content in your presence. It could hurt a bit (claws). Feel free to pet your cat, this will increase the happiness. More happiness -> more kneading -> more pain, eh, I meant signs of love.Cats show love with head bumpsYour cat bumps its head against yours. Seems strange, but is actually one of the ultimate cat-shows-affection tools. Cats have glands in their cheeks and heads. By rubbing them against you they mark you as part of their VIP-circle.Cats show love with creepy staring sessionsYour cat stares at you and blinks slowly. Translates to: “Human, you made me a fine lasagna yesterday and I dearly appreciate your existence.”Cats show love by exposing their vulnerabilitiesYour cat rolls onto its back and shows its vulnerable belly. Your cat might even allow you to touch it. Feel honored, your cat trusts you.Cats show love by being offendedCats won’t miss you too much when you go to work, they know you’ll come back eventually. They will, however, be offended when you stay away longer than normal. Did you ever come back after a nice holiday only to find your cat ignoring you? It’s completely understandable. You’d be angry too, if a loved one disappeared for two weeks.Cats show love by staying closeYour cat lies in bed with you. Your cat sits at the table with you. Your cat lies between your legs when your’re at the loo. Your cat tries to crawl into your pyjama at night. Your cat tries to bath or shower with you even though it hates water.Cats show love by taking care of youYour cat licks and grooms you. It helps you to take care of your hygiene, since you’re so ungainly and can’t do it yourself. No bathtub can compare with a cat bath.“Sorry Mister Mouse, but I want to show my humans how much I love them.” [1]“Hello dog, it’s lovey-dovey time. Receive my head bump.” [2]Footnotes[1] Kostenloses Bild auf Pixabay - Maus, Waldmaus, Katze, Lauern[2] Kostenloses Bild auf Pixabay - Liebe, Hund, Katze, Gemeinsam, Tier

Why does my cat love eating raw tuna?

Because it is your cats natural food

Why does my cat love eating Doritos?

I think it's just natural that pets would love human food, because It's most likely not as bland as dog or cat food. Try to avoid giving it doritos, because a habit of feeding them to your cat could make it become unhealthy. Switch cat foods once in a while. Put some excitement in your cat's diet.

Why does my cat love seaweed?

According to a Natural Pet Care book I have, seaweed provides dozens of minerals, like iodine, and trace elements.

It's an antacid (soothes the stomach).

Some seaweeds are actually "worming herbs" (prevents or rids of worms).

It's an herb used for Anemia (in pets).

Seaweed and sea salt are good for treating coats [in treating allergies], if they lack proper pigmentation.

And it's good for treating & preventing feline leukemia.

I just went through all the pages listed in the Index for Seaweed and it says nothing bad about giving it to cats. In fact, I'm going to buy some now, first chance I get!! (I got them Kelp one time, but they didn't like it. I'll try something else, maybe!! Thanks!! :)

Why does my cat love the basement ?

For the same reason a newly groomed, clean dog will roll in poo..right after a bath. They think it smells good. Dogs like smelly things and don't mind being dirty.

Cats are nocturnal and love to run around all night long..chasing spiders..and using their night vision to see. They like dark, creepy basements and they think it's fun to catch things. She sounds like she's busy doing cat stuff all night..then she can rest and relax during the day. That's how they are.

Make sure you don't have any mice down there..and don't put out poison if you do. If you poison rodents and she grabs a mouse..she could die. She could be chasing mice down there for all you know. Although usually cats will bring her human the mouse as a present. They'll usually leave a dead mouse for the people they love. Which is nice, the way they see it...it's a gift of profound generosity.

Check out the basement during the day and see what she's getting into. Make sure she isn't finding a way out..or could get hurt. But she's probably fine down there. She likes it. Silly cat.

Why does my cat love asparagus?

It’s NOT just your cat; if you do a search this is a fairly common question. As a co-dweller of many cats throughout my life, I can testify that most of them have been very attracted to the smell of both canned and fresh asparagus in my home, and as a biologist I’m inclined to believe there’s something beneficial to cats in asparagus because of their attraction to it, and so I tend to indulge them (just a little) without worry, when I eat asparagus. I remember some years back when I was closely tracking my nutrition, I was stunned at the variety and quantity of vitamins and minerals in asparagus, possibly a longer and more impressive list than any other food I looked up. One or more of those nutrients is likely something beneficial to cats, making them crave the flavor. And if you look at the ingredients of even the most highly-praised commercial cat foods, most contain plant ingredients, so I see no reason why the occasional couple pieces of cut asparagus would harm your cat, may even give them a boost of something they’re deficient in.
