Could My Professor Have A Thing For Me

I think my professor likes me?

I think my professor likes me. I catch him starring at me. He glances at me as im leaving and gives me a shy smile. I caught him checking me out as well. When he went over a worksheet for business terminology and concepts, I was a little lost, so I asked him. He got got a pen from my hand to show me the concepts and touched my hand and stood very close to me. He kept giving my my pen, but then asking for it all while touching my hand over and over.? He began to blush alot and appeared like a red lobster. Then he started stuttering. Then I had to go so I thanked him and he said he was going to the Orchestra! I like him for his intelligence, but he is way older than me. I am 21 and he is in his late 50's/early 60's.I know its a big age difference but I don't care, and he is my professor. Is it wrong for me to like him? Do you think he likes me?Am i crazy?but I feel something for him when I see him. What's the best thing to do?help.give me your opinion. Is it against the law if we're adults

Could my professor be calling me?

i had this professor in a class that just ended that i had a crush on and i think he was attracted to me. the thing is about 2 weeks ago some man called my house sounding just like him saying his name was jim or something from some house company. i dont remember details. i got a bit freaked out and just hung up. the same guy has called 2 more times, the 2nd time i kept him on the phone a bit longer and it really sounded like him. he wanted me to confirm my name and stuff. then the 3rd time today, i said hello and after he spoke i didnt say anything. he was still on the phone cause i could hear him breathing. that lasted 3 minutes before he finally hung up.
what are the chances its my professor? i know i sound like a lunatic thinking its him but i just cant get over the fact that the voice was the same,a nd its not the most common type of voice. its a bit different and really soothing so ic ould tell. . thats what makes me wonder..and he keeps calling. dont these random people who call u just give upif u hang up on them?
idk i feel myself going crazy but what do u think? and is it easy for profs to get students numbers??

Does my professor have a thing for me?

I have had the same professor for several different classes, and I am beginning to wonder if he may have a thing for me. While he's teaching, he tends to scan the room with his eyes, but when he looks at me, he keeps his gaze fixed there for an abnormally long amount of time. Also, I have a job on-campus, and he tends to get coffee a lot where I work during my shift. Today, he came into the cafeteria before I had started my shift, and he joked, saying I was on the wrong side of the counter. He then left without buying anything from the shop. Thirty minutes later, I was on the clock, and he came back over and decided to order something--when I was on the clock. He then proceeded to complain about dragging and being tired and NEEDING coffee, which made me wonder why he didn't just get it earlier.

Keep in mind this professor has asked me to do several things for him in the past, such as set up some things on a computer and scan things in for him because he's, quite frankly, illiterate when it comes to computers. I don't think he's asked any other students to help him before--not after hours.

Am I looking too much into this, or is this professor interested? Keep in mind this teacher is rather popular at my college, and many, many girls have crushes on him.

I am in my early 20s, and the teacher is in his mid-30s...and he's been known to date women around my age before.

I think my professor might have a small crush on me?

I think my professor might have a thing for me. He is ALWAYS (and when I say always, I mean ALWAYS) winking at me and I know that winking is a common flirting technique. He also smiles at me a lot and looks directly at me after telling a joke or saying something funny to another classmate like he's waiting for my reaction. I know these are little things but it's becoming more and more noticable. I always catch him staring at me, too, and once I caught him looking at my boobs. He says side comments to me before and after class but doesn't talk to me much during class, he's just always smiling and winking. I'm thinking he doesn't want to talk to me during class because he doesn't want to make the crush obvious to anyone else in the class (there's only 20 people in the class so it's pretty small). He calls on me for the answers a lot when no one in the class knows them because I've gotten A's on everything in there. From what I said, do you think he has a little crush? Or am I making something out of nothing? The little gestures during class are starting to make me uncomfortable and I don't want to assume anything. BTW: He's 55 and unmarried if that matters.

Thanks!

How can I tell if my professor has a crush on me?

Although I will have to agree with Anna, I also disagree with her. No one can control who whether or not we crush on, even if it is professional or not. But professors know not to act on their crush because it can cause them to lose their job behind it, until the student has either graduated from his class or from the college altogether. But anyways, there are ways to tell if he does, it would be the same as any other guy, because professors are any other guy, they are just at a higher level of authority. They will smile at you a lot, stare at you, always ask you for things, give you things, want input from you, compliment you, likes to make you laugh and watches you when you laugh.

But remember, you can't make any moves on him and make sure he doesn't on you, because if anyone was to find out it would ruin his career and end your classes. But when it is over you can ask him out and see what he says. (That is, if you like him back, because you never said anything about liking him.)

Good Luck
P.S. Don't worry, I am in the same situation as you, except I have never met this professor.
