Any Good Zombie Story Ideas?
Well, I'm in a creative writing story class and I want to do a go good story on a zombie quarantine. I'm a good writer, but I'm just seeking out some ideas from others, ideas? Character Names? Settings? Thanks Guys and Gals
Good title for a zombie story?
After watching Sucker Punch and reading World War Z, I decided it would be fun to write a zombie book. It would take place during World War II and bio weapons are dropped on all sides, turning most into zombies. A German officer and American sniper would have to work together to get to the UK before America decides to drop an atomic bomb to cleanse the area. World War Z is obviously the most tempting title, but of course it's already taken. The only other one I have is War of the Dead. Any ideas for a fun title?
What are good suggestions for anime?
Well, look at that! I was you 2 years ago! I was also looking for smart protagonists and i started reading a lot. Now i've read/watched over 130 mangas!I think i'll just name some very strong mangas that are a bit similar to CG and DN.Deadman Wonderland: i hope you know this, because it is a bit old but its main theme is pretty actual. A great story with perharps a too weak main, but you can deal with it.Liar Game: This one is all about geniuses clashing. The story is pretty great, a bit cliché but you can deal with that without main issues. Both main characters surprise you many times, and even with a bit stupid proposal, the autor proves to be a decent writer.The World God Only Knows: Another very good story, but the main character is a real jerk [SPOILER] dumps a girl "for the greater good". Still a very interesting and funny manga.Tokyo Kushu: One of the best i've ever read. The story is ~awesome~. After chapter 83~85 the manga show its true colors. Can't just resume a manga as impactant as this one.Iris Zero: Another well-made manga, with a looking-like superfluous theme but very deep if you pay some attention. Is basically a very smart kid that deduces everything.I hope you've already read Mirai Nikki.Well, i really enjoyed all of these series. Mr.Martin Schneider can help you on further explanations. Is my zombie story good?
Tell me what to change. And a few ideas please. And i do accept criticism, unless it's something that won't help me. And this is just it so far. Zombietalia. I could hear the crawling and screaming from the other room.. The ear-peircing screechs that nearly made my ears bleed.. The blood that seeped under from the door, making the room stink of rotten flesh.. It was all real, and I wasn't dreaming any of it. It's a nightmare, but in reality. And none of this was fake, it was all real.. 1 I sat on the floor, near a wall holding my wrists tightly, forming purple marks around my fingers. The room was cold, and my body began to feel frozen. My throat is starting to go dry, and my eyes are beginning to sting. 'I'm going to die, face it.' I close my eyes, and block out the screaming from my ears. 'Good-bye.' I whisper, as a salty tear-drop runs down my face. All of a sudden, I hear cracking, and creeking. I stand up, my hand shaking violently. Then, there I see it. Zombie hands clawing at the floor, from under the door. Green pus popping from there fingertips, as they scrape at the floor. I turn away, screaming. I quickly get the large, glowing lamp that's on the tabletop and throw it at there disgusting arms. The only good it does is cut a few of the zombies fingers off. I stop screaming, no one can hear me. The zombies screams are too loud, and everyone outside are probably now zombies... dead. I sit down, knowing there going to come in soon enough, to eat me alive. To kill me, and turn me into one of those dead, lifeless demons. I'm not even sure what zombies are... but I do know is that there mindless evil.
Any good ideas of a title for a zombie story?
I'm writing a zombie story, but I'm having some trouble with a title. I want the title to be unique(: The story starts with a married couple Nikki and Quinn Their sons are still at school when the infection first begins in their town. Most children are infected and the school caught on fire, the two losing their sons. They travel and meet a group, whom they travel with. (Basically a zombie survival story..) Nikki has to shoot a member of their group when he is close to death. Later Quinn falls off a building roof and is impaled by a plank of wood. Nikki is forced to shoot her wife in the head, because even if you die without being bitten, you can turn. Nikki and the group finds a little girl named Maria LeVygotsky who they take in, and grows attached to Nikki. a bunch of time passes and little girl Maria is forced to kill Nikki when she gets bitten. Good zombie apocalypse story ideas?
I want to make a film about a zombie apocalypse. I am aiming for a more humorous story, but also keep all the action and stuff. I do not want a film that is depressing. I would like the story similar to the film "Zombieland" and the YouTube video "Zombie Universe" as I found both funny while violent. I of course do not want to steal their ideas, that's why I was wondering if any of you could share a Story with me.
Any tips for someone writing a zombie apocalypse story?
Oooh, this is a challenge. I love challenges. First off, I think it depends on if you have one sole protagonist, or if you have many characters that band together to fight off the undead. To be a bit different, instead of starting with the very first zombie to ever be documented attacking a character, I say start it somewhere after the apocalypse has already begun, maybe not with the characters you're working with, but innocent civilians that are trying to escape, that end up killed or infected. And to introduce your characters, it could start with them reflecting back on their first zombie encounter, but fast forwards to the present to show now that they know how to evade/kill them.
What are some tips for writing a zombie story?
Keep the main character intelligent, but not knowledgeable. You don’t want a main character that is portrayed as a big, zombie-killing, know-it-all. It’s boring, its been overused, and it makes for a short story.Keep resource collecting consistent, and realistic. Don’t hand the survivor weapons, food, and shelter. In an apocalypse-scale disaster, survivors will undoubtedly be fighting tooth and nail for resources and advantages.Keep the source of the zombies consistent. If it is viral, it wouldn’t mutate the specimen to change bone structure, mobility, etc.
What are some tips for my zombie apocalypse story?
Worst thing in my mind is --> Group automatically sees as a treat anyone with a gun and kills them if they don`t surrender to them. But when this group meets larger group and that Larger group thinks they are treat. Large group becomes Evil.Don`t spend much time in how it started no matter what you will think there will be plenty of reasons why it wouldn't work.Good part would be how few strangers meet by running from zombies to building safehouse meet more people and at the end build first town :P
