How can I tell if someone is jealous of me?
I had a colleague who was very jealous of me, at least that is what people told me when I complained of her behavior. Here is what I experienced:She would copy me. If I got a new piece of jewelry then she would get something very similar shortly afterward. If I traveled somewhere, she would go on a trip also to some place similar.She would be very nice to me to my face but them put me down behind my back. People would tell me about some of the things she said I was doing. Not of it was true.She was constantly complaining about others. No one was very competent in her opinion. I was one of them when my back was turned.We were friends outside the work place. But she would like to purposefully exclude me and tell me about where she went and what she did.She would never compliment me or ask about a trip.I always had the feeling that she was trying to “ put me in my place”.These things went on for quite a few years. I tolerated it because I worked with her and wanted to keep my work environment as peaceful as possible. She must have taken this as permission to keep doing it. Finally, the last straw came. I had golfed with her and a couple other ladies for about 8 years on Wednesday afternoons in the summer. She had recently been particularly difficult to work with and had alienated several other people with her negativity and complaining. She was going to schedule a tee time for the following week. I asked her to just let me know. She never told me and I found out that our group had gone without me. I finally confronted her about it and told the entire group that I would never do anything with them again. They were not “friends” if they were going to treat me like that. At work I had asked to be reassigned to a different area so I wouldn’t have to work with her again.After breaking it off with her I realized a few things… Her negativity had unconsciously rubbed off on me. I had to work on not criticizing and complaining about others. She really had been toxic. I developed better friendships with other, more positive people. I was so much happier!
Someone sent me the following news story-is it true?
A Tennessee couple--Dave and Rebecca Kosmitis both bona fide rednecks, had nine children. They went to the Doctor to see about getting Dave ‘Fixed.’ The Doctor gladly started the required procedure and asked them what finally made them make the decision. Why, after nine children, would they choose to do this? Dave replied that he read in a recent article that 1 out of every 10 children being born in the United States was Mexican, and they didn’t want to take any chance of having a Mexican baby because neither of them could speak Spanish.

so this guy ralph comes home from a long night of drinking and stumbles his way into bed trying hard not to wake his wife. He falls into a deep sleep however he awakens shortly and sees nothing but white..then as the fog clears he sees a man standing at a large podium. Ralph says "where am I and who are you?" the man says " I am st. Peter and you have died Ralph, welcome to heaven." well Ralph starts having a panic attack saying " no no no i cant die i have so much life left to live......pleaaaassseee send me back pleeeaaseee im begging you" to which st. Peter replied...unfortunately Ralph i can only accomodate you by sending you back as a chicken and thats it...so ralph thinks for a moment and says " ok well if thats the case can you at least put my on the farm thats next to my old house?....."Yes Ralph" and Pow! Within a blink Ralph is looking at the ground from a very short distance...feeling strange and covered with feathers....soon after he realized where he was and what he was...a rooster came up to him and said "hey hey are you the new hen around here? And ralph said "yeah i just got here and i....oh my god what is that awful pain in my stomach?.....to which the rooster replied.."oh that just means you have to lay eggs" .....well raplh had no idea how that worked so he asked how...the rooster said "just squeeze really hard and breathe in an out and they will just plop out....so ralph squeezes hard and like clockwork he feels an egg come out of him......he is so excited! He has just experienced motherhood! So he tries another and that one comes out even easier! He just about to lay the third when he feels a very hard SMACK!!!! On the back of his head and his wife saying "DAMNIT RALPH! WAKE UP!!! YOU ARE SHITTING IN THE BED!!!!

When someone says, 'I have good news and bad news,' which do you choose to hear first, and why?
If someone tells me that he/she has good news and bad news.I would prefer to listen to the bad news first and then the good news .The reason being, any bad news concerning me is going to throw up my day in doldrums. It is going to catch me unawares and make me ineffective for the rest of the day. I might get restless, be under stress, may not be focussed and will be so weary that I embrace defeat like a fallen soldier.Whereas every good news is only making me cherish the moment and it would be all the more delighful if it is moreso concerned with me directly.I could probably use my hankies to wipe out that lone tear hearing the bad news and then jump in joy forgetting all the tension on hearing the good news.For eg:, Someone tells me I lost out on the business deal. I would feel finished. But on the other side, someone tells me there are more opportunities. I would shove aside my failure and look out for the multiple opportunities to win and succeed.And certainly not the other way around. I ain’t no cry baby.SCM.
