Could Sugaring Your Armpits Make It Whiter

Could Sugaring your armpits make it whiter?

I read somewhere that it could make your underarms whiter and after a couple of times doing sugaring the hair roots will stop growing. is that true?
Im 14 and my under arms are dark and I don't want to do waxing since it probably hurts and Im very sensitive with pain. My parents completely disagree of letting me get sugaring in a salon since it might cost a lot. So i did some research and found out you could buy one but will that make your under arms whiter as well and make the hair roots stop growing if its bought? I do buy lemon and make lemon juice to put on my underarms.

I read it here:

I have ugly armpits?!?

It sounds like you are sensitive to some ingredients in the products you use, and your skin is really irritated.

First, you have to use a sharp blade when you shave. A dull blade snags your skin and causes irritation.

Second, don't use any of those products you mention. The razor has a strip of chemicals, the shaving cream is all chemicals, and the deodorant is full of really bad chemicals too.

I use a razor without a weird chemical strip. The chemical strips give me rashes. Don't buy the ones marketed to girls. Choose a plain razor without a strip. The curvy pink handles don't improve your shave, and just cost you extra money. Get a plain black and grey men's razor with replaceable heads and no strip. You will be happy you did.

I don't ever use a shaving gel or cream, because they also irritate my skin. I use Dr Bronner's All One Magic Soap - it comes in a liquid and a bar; I use the liquid. It is natural and doesn't irritate my skin. I put plenty on so it's thick and helps the blade slide, and apply more any time it rinses away.

When I quit using Secret, not only did I actually start to smell less and sweat less, I also had much better skin in my armpits. It takes a few days for your body to adjust, but it is so worth it. I use a natural deodorant now. You can get them at a lot of drugstores and natural foods stores. It works great as deodorant, but it isn't as strong of an antiperspirant. That's okay, though, because I just wash and change my shirt after working out anyway! Baby powder or cornstarch work as antiperspirant when you really need them, but they show up white so they aren't ideal with a tank top.

Last, don't shave every day, or even every other day. I know it sounds impossible, but your skin needs to heal and it can't if you shave every day. Give yourself a break from shaving for at least a few days, as long as possible. Then try shaving without all the chemicals and see what happens!

How to whiten underarms?

Hi. I shave my armpits occasionally (maybe once in two weeks) and it causes my underarms to be dark. I used tweezers before but it gave me nothing but chicken skin that I regret until now. I have also tried waxing but it doesn't do anything with whitening my underarms. Everytime remove hair out of my underarms, it becomes dark. Our prom is 4 months away and it would be my last. And i want to feel free to raise my hands whenever i dance. I tried using calamansi/lemon before but it seems like i have sensitive skin. And I don't have enough money to go to the derma. I tried cucumber before and it's kinda effective but it leaves me an odor that is embarassing. I had used almost 3 different whitening deodorants but none of them seems to be effective. So can you please help me? Any suggestions/advices is higly appreciated. Thank you in advance and God bless.

P.S I'm not dark, neither white. I have a fair skin complexion.
