Cut My Ebt Into Pieces This Is My Last Resort

Does the Social Security Administration monitor your bank account if you have Social Security Disability Insurance Income?

SSDI - Not unless you owe the Federal Govt. money, such as taxes or student loans, also child support obligations.SSI - Yes. There is an agreement with the state, although you won’t find it even if you look, that if you receive Medicaid or Food Stamps, they can look into your bank accounts. This is besides the SSI, but can’t be garnished. You also have limits on SSI on your asset values, it varies by state, but most states the limit is $2,000 held in a bank account, especially if you use Medicaid or Food Stamps. SSDI = no limits. But don’t be fooled with SSI. States have something called “Medicaid Estate Recovery Program (MERP)”, please Google. This is essentially a state-run, full-time collection agency looking for you to abuse a state program. They can and do look at your bank accounts.I had Medicaid and Food Stamps. My DHS worker messed up my Food Stamp amount. 3 years later, I got called in to a DHS office, but it wasn’t them, it was the MERP jerks, threatening to have me arrested for over-payment of Food Stamps. It was DHS’s fault, but they do not care, at all. They are a bully collection agency approved by the govt. and they do whatever they want, inc. the ability to see your bank accounts.

As a fitness professional, what are some big no-nos you regularly see people make in their diet?

Lots of no-nos in reality but here are the biggest ones that i think are limiting peoples chances of success in the gym:
1- Heavy weights with shitty form : this is a big one since not only it does limit progress to none but it also put the trainees at a high risk of injury.
2-Mr know everything but do nothing : the guy that everyone hate , talking about someone who happen to read 2 articles on a fitness magazine , watch couple of youtube videos and think he know it all so instead of focusing on his workout and progress he will be up on everyon’s *** telling them they are wrong.
3- Not reracking weights and slamming the weights : i hate this one and it pisses me off so much it just shows disrespect and lack of manners and beside being a physique temple , the Gym is also a place for self growth and even meditation for some people and those behaviours just ruin that aspect.
4- Too much cardio : this one is especially for women , we love you ladies but really if you want to get in shape you better be squatting rather then running with 2mile/hour pace on the treadmil while taking instagram selfies.
5- Perma bulkers : No offense to anyone but i dont like those fat dudes acting like they are big and bulky and walking like they are all strongman’s mocking anyone trying to get shreeded and telling them they are getting small and weal thinking that they are impressive themselves while in reality they are just fat

How does a man stop from becoming homeless?

ok, so you have a job, an apartment, a dog, credit cards, a savings account, a car, good credit, everything is going well. Then there’s a bump in the road, the company cuts it’s staff and lets you go, or the company closes, what do you do?The first day on this job you should have rewritten your resume and updated it as new things were accomplished/learned so now all you have to do is reprint it. You know in 3 months if you don’t pay you’re rent you’ll be stuck, and you can’t live there without electric so at last resort you’d use your credit cards and savings account. Take your pet to your parents home and ask for them to take the pet in until you get another job. Get a weekend job at a grocery store or walmart or macdonalds or some other retail or restaurant place so you can look for work during the week. If you’re able to then the minute you lose your job sign up for food stamps. So the next thing is every day apply at 3 places (keep a pad and pencil in your car to mark all where you’ve been and what they told you. Take down phone numbers. The reason for the pad is because at some point your cellphone won’t be working and if you put everything there or on the internet you might be stuck. Some are employed 4–9 months (just enough to mess up your housing and move back in with parents or a friend so make friends before you need them.)One cannot prevent life from happening; can’t halt from being unemployed, but planning ahead can make the trip back to employment a little sweeter. Homeless could mean your paycheck isn’t enough so maybe you need to work 2 or 3 jobs, or get the cheapest place in the most secure area you can find and near bus service. Or maybe you’re homeless because you and your significant other had a fight, so don’t fight, again plan ahead so that you can support yourself.

What was your biggest Thanksgiving disaster - and how could you have prevented it?

It was the first Thanksgiving after my husband and I started dating. He drove three hours to spend the holiday weekend with me so I wanted to impress him with a home cooked meal. I waited until leaving work Wednesday night to go the the grocery store and in the mad push of people, I reached in the bin and grabbed a turkey. The next afternoon, I placed my turkey in a sink full of water to thaw and began on my side dishes. After he arrived and we had a drink, he ventured into the kitchen at which point I noticed he was peering down into the sink and frowning. I asked if something was wrong with the turkey and he said "Yeah . . . it's a duck."

To my horror, I had picked up a duck and never noticed that this long narrow bird was not a fat round turkey. I attempted to roast it and while it had a nice flavor, we quickly realized there isn't much meat on a duck. In addition, my gravy was burnt, my potatoes were salty and the macaroni and cheese was a solid block. I finally accepted defeat and we ventured out to the local 7-Eleven and had a Thanksgiving hot dog!

I wouldn't have done a thing to prevent it!! That night my husband told me he loved me for the first time and we have been together for over twelve years. He turned out to be an incredible cook and I have never cooked another Thanksgiving dinner! And every year we toast our famous Thanksgiving duck!

I sometimes starve myself because I feel I dont deserve food?

First off, the person that you were 10 minutes ago is not the person that you are now. You are a changing, evolving human being. If you felt you were a "lazy fat piece of **** " before, there is no reason for you to feel you are now, or that you will be in the future. We all change. That is why we live.

Second, starving yourself should not be an option. You require nutrition. Without it you will die. Your body cannot function soley off stored fatty tissue. It requires an assortment of various other substances to function, repair damage, maintain energy. If you starve it of these things it cannot help you get to where you need to be. Since money is tight for you at the moment, i suggest contacting a local food shelter. Many can be a great resource for learning about nutrition requirements and lower-cost foods that your body needs.

Third, it is comendable that you want to help your family, especially with the situation as dire as it is, but have you thought about the aftermath? How will these young children feel about themselves later if they learn you endangered (or even lost) your own life to save theirs? You are part of a family, and that means taking care of EVERYONE, including yourself. There are other ways you can contribute if work is hard to find. Learn to use coupons and help your family determine a "food budget". Explore low cost eating alternatives and recipes that can strech those dollars even farther. Ask "What can I do to help you?" and be willing to do it.

Last, you deffinatly need to bring this up with your counselor, maybe even your pharmacist if you are on medication. These feelings could be a side effect.

Don't give up hope. Times like these can bring out the true character in people. You sound like you want to get through this. Be smart, be safe and be strong and the odds are in your favor that you will.
