Almost stock OS with more flexibility - Oxygen OS2.1.1 is pretty stable and it has flexibility features that lets you control permissions of various app, which i found very helpful. The OS along with RAM offers a butter smooth performance5. Battery backup isgood. It lasts me a solid 40 hrs of usage with screen time of ~5 hrs and with 3G on the whole time. I did a few customizations like turning off haptic feedbacks, gestures.6. LED notifications is cool feature.7. Call clarity is good - both on receiver and speaker.8. Amplifier app - The built in volume amplifier is pretty awesome. The mic probably doesn't work as expected because the headphone jack on most phones has 4 conductors, but the microphone has only 2 (TRRS vs TS).The headphone jack supports stereo audio plus mic (one conductor for left out, one for right out, one for mic in, and one for a common ground - tip, ring, ring, sleeve, or TRRS) but the mic has only mono in and a ground (tip, and sleeve, or TS), so the pins don't line up.The solution should be easy, but nothing is ever as easy as it ought to be. On the surface, you need something like Amazon.com: StarTech.com Headset adapter for headsets with separate headphone / microphone plugs - 3.5mm 4 position to 2x 3 position 3.5mm M/F: Electronics to fix the mic.The problem is that some phones use the CTIA standard, but others use OMTP. The difference is the order of the mic and ground conductors (you can think of it as TRRS vs.TRSR). I don't know which standard your phone uses. Heck, I'm not sure which one mine uses!I would look at several, seemingly identical (but they're not), adapters, read the descriptions and reviews, and try to come up with one CTIA and one OMTP and buy both. At least one will work. Both might work. One may seem to work better than the other. You'll just have to experiment a bit and you can always return one of them.I know it's not a done-deal solution, but you should be on the right track now. Good luck.
