Have you ever been wrongfully banned from renting from a car rental company? How did you feel?
Rental car companies can ban you from renting cars if they want to, they won't ever take you off the do not rent list since they feel you might wreck another car. Just use a different car rental company not like its the end of the world.
My dog died recently, I'm really sad and I keep forgetting she's gone.... what should I do?
It sounds like you would be ready for a new friend, and deserve to have one. That is up to your parents, but if I were you, I would point out to them that you had a dog before, and it is really important to you to have one inyour life. They may be thinking that the only way to get a new dog is to start with a puppy, but there are more adult dogs out there than puppies, and they all desperately need you as much as you need them. Perhaps if you research some of the rescue groups near you, it might be possible to find a nice low key dog that would be a good fit, and not much trouble at all. I have lost a lot of very special dogs, and know how very sad it can be - I still miss them, even though there are 5 perfectly good dogs living here at the moment! I love them too, of course ;) there is a good book that I give to friedns when they lose a dog, even to adults although it looks like a kid's book - it is Dog Heaven by Cynthia Rylant. It has beautiful happy pictures, and just helps you feel happy again... I hope that your parents agree to let you have another dog. It sounds like it would be good for you, for a lot of reasons.
