I need dark/mysterious names for a boy?
I like Nero. When I think of a Freisian, the color black comes to mind, but when they move...powerful...and overides everything else. I think Nero fits the bill, but that's just me, lol! Most Fresians are black, a dark/black approach to a name is not unique, but approaching the matter in terms of strength/power/grace may hit the jackpot.

Dangerous and Mysterious sounding names?
In writing a book and the main characters are very strong and determined. I need some names that sound dangerous and mysterious, nothing that sounds innocent and sweet. I don't want any normal sounding names either, like ones you can find every day. I'm a little picky with my character names so just tell me anything you can think of please. Thanks:)

Abbie, If you want some unique names from various nationalities, do what I do. Get one of your DVD's and go directly to the credits. Don't bother with the cast, but go to the people behind the scenes. Best Boy, Lighting Crew, Sound Crew, Hairdressers, Assistants, etc... I take a first name and marry it up with another last name. This is a great way to get away from the hum drum names that simply come to mind. It takes a little time, but it’s well worth it. It’s a great way to come up with names for various creatures of the night, too. Vampires, Werewolves, Witches, Demons, etc… PJ M

Okay, so I am writing this book. Or I want to but I can't come up with a name for the main character. Now the story revolves around this girl who is extremly mysterious and dangerous. But I do not want a common name. Can anyone help me??
Dark or mysterious names for entertainment companies?
Well, if you're writing about this entertainment company, do people start getting involved in it without knowing what they are getting into? If so, make the name not so obvious that it is dangerous... something like "Stark's Room of Entertainment" I know, it sounds pitiful and you definately don't have to use that :] If people know that this company is dangerous, make it dark like... well think of those different groups from the past such as the KKK. How did they come up with their name? I think it was a possible Latin Root for that group name. There was the Bloodz etc. Think of something along those lines. Mysterious Sounding Names That Would Fit A Medieval Assassin Well?
Please ignore that first answerer. I have no idea why they are talking about hair, but oh well. Anyway, I'm good at finding medieval type names for characters, because, in fact, I write about medieval characters! Anyway, here are some that I think would fit your character... I also included their meanings. -Anselm: god's helmet -Alistair: man's defender -Archer*: bowman -Blade: sword, knife -Casper*: treasurer -Dante*: hell -Drake: medieval term for dragon -Mace: medieval weapon used to break armor -Sterling*: silver fighter -Wolfe: wolf The names with a star beside them are the ones I marked as my favorite. Of course, the decision is up to you, but I really recommend the name Sterling. It fits all the criteria you wanted. Mysterious, male, dangerous, gorgeous especially. And to top it off, it even means silver fighter! That's like, a jewel fighter. A really good fighter, kind of. I would use that if I were you. Hope I helped! -
