Deadly Terrible Health Anxiety.

Can anxiety kill you?

No, they can't kill you.
When you have a panic attack you can be absoluely terrified and believe that something terrible is going to happen to you, however, they are not dangerous at all. A panic attack is just your body's way of trying to protect you from what it percieves to be a harmful situation - even if that situation is not harmful, i.e. crowded place, train, plane, etc. When you have a panic attack your body goes into fight of flight mode, which means that it is preparing your body to protect you from a harmful event, this means that blood is directed away from your organs and sent to yours muscles so that you can run or fight more efficiently - this can be why you feel sick, light headed or 'off balance', your heart rate also increases (again to prepare you for fight or flight) and you get an adrenaline rush which can cause you to feel shakey or achey - this is why it is important to exercise reguarly if you suffer from anxiety. Another reason exercise is important is that it makes you feel happy! None of these occurances are the least bit dangerous, just unpleasant. I find that knowing the reasons behind the symptoms that you experience during a panic attack is helpful in rationalising them and feeling safer.

I am deadly afraid of cancer?

It is not proven that weed (marijuana) kills any cancer cells.
That is a myth.
Cigarettes - tobacco - kill more than one third of all cancer patients in the USA.
From the National Cancer Institute - "Cigarette smoking causes an estimated
443,000 deaths each year, including approximately 49,400 deaths due to
exposure to secondhand smoke.
Lung cancer is the leading cause of cancer death among both men and women
in the United States, and 90 percent of lung cancer deaths among men and
approximately 80 percent of lung cancer deaths among women are due to smoking.
Smoking causes many other types of cancer, including cancers of the throat,
mouth, nasal cavity, esophagus, stomach, pancreas, kidney, bladder, cervix,
acute myeloid leukemia, and of course lung cancers."
IF you are deathly afraid of cancer, you should quit your addiction to cigarettes.
It is a drug addiction plain and simple.

What does dreaming about teeth and spiders mean?

I had a dream that there was a large deadly spider next to me and every time I would point at it, it would try to bite me (which was quite often).

Also in the dream I went to the mirror and I saw that my teeth were yellow and two molars, one of my small sharp teeth and my two front teeth fell out without any blood. The two molars grew a bit but thats it.

Can anyone help me out and an Islamic interpretation would we great since I'm Muslim. But it's okay if it isn't.

Thank you.

What are your 7 deadly sins?

Social awkwardness: I don’t like social gatherings. More than two-three people and my energy depletes faster than the time a capacitor takes to discharge. Additionally, in order to retain some sanity in my life by having a set routine of going to the gym early morning before classes and sleeping by 10 PM, I have inadvertently become someone who rarely goes out, doesn’t wanna meet most people, and might come across as selfish and/or high maintenance. Yeah, no. All I wanna do is stay healthy and happy. Bear with me. Thanks.Procrastination: This is an endless battle. It has gotten worse this semester since I’ve got lesser classes and more time to myself and still no concrete idea of what to do with my life, so I keep juggling from one idea to next without getting anywhere.Untidiness: I’ll clean my room on Monday, have three consecutive first hour classes on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday and BAM! Next thing we know, everything’s out of place. It’s a cycle I can’t step out of.Being judgmental: As a person, I’ve changed big time ever since my first year(I’m currently in my fourth). But even then, thanks to old habits, I sometimes find myself judging someone without a blink only to remind myself to stop being an asshole because you don’t know SHIT about the person’s life. Sigh.Forgetting to call: Oh my god, I’m such a bad person at times. Mom, Dad, Sister, Boyfriend, Cousin. I often tell myself I’ll call them and then forget to do so because phone conversation is a painful chore and I’ll postpone it as much as I possibly can(see point 2).Laughing too loud/Saying the wrong thing at the wrong time: Wow, I don’t even remember how many times I’ve said things I’ve regretted not more than a second after. So now I try to follow the following principle:When should you decide to speak:Is it informative? Is it nice and will make someone feel better? Is it genuinely funny? If the answer is not yes to at least one of them, you’re not contributing to the conversation by saying something. Shut the hell up!Believing what I think is right: The first step into maturity begins when you realize there are tons of other viewpoints out there in world besides your own and yes, they can be acceptable too. You might not agree with them. But that doesn’t put you in any position to believe what you think as the ultimate truth. I’m working on this.
