Yahoo Groups - cannot delete files?
I am 100% confident that I am following the right steps to delete a file on Yahoo Groups (note the I am the group owner for the group in question). However, I am not able to successfully delete files. Following are the steps that I'm using to TRY to delete files: Click MORE, FILES, then hover the mouse over the file in question and click on the Garbage Can (delete) icon. The file will temporarily disappear from the list, however when the list is refreshed - the file that I attempted to delete is still there. This has happened multiple times with multiple browsers, but have not been successful. I really need to delete some files, because proper maintenance makes the site easier to use for my group members. Please tell me what steps I need to take in order to perform basic file maintenance for my site. Thank you for your time, Marty. P.S. If you "Cut" the file to the Clipboard, I would create a Trash folder. Then open the Trash folder and you can Paste the file into it. There should be Paste icon to the right of the name of the file when the Trash folder is opened, and you hover the cursor over the file name. That will allow you to then upload a new file because the old file will no longer be in the Files folder. When files can be deleted again, just delete the Trash folder. Files Cut to the Trash folder will first need to be renamed using the online Edit function, if a file by that name already exists in the Trash folder.

When I try to cut and paste files from one folder to another they automatically paste to the top files directory and from there when I try to delete or move to where I want it tells me "invalid path". I really need those files to be where I want them, random files on the top layer is NOT ideal, I essentially can't use the yahoo group for what I want need it for if this can't be remedied?
