Deposit For 2 Stables

Why is lead found in all deposits of uranium ores?

Radioactive uranium decays in a series of steps. Lead is the stable element at the end. So even if the ore originally contained no lead, the radioactive uranium isotopes in the ore will decay and become lead over time. Granted it takes a long time to do that, but it will eventually become lead. That's why uranium ores contain lead. It's the left over after the radioactive uranium isotopes have completed their decay.

How do you fill out a deposit slip for multiple checks?

This is more of a "settle this bet" kind of thing :-) We don't really have a bet, but I just sent my husband to the bank with a deposit slip and three checks. Now, it has spaces for "Currency" "Coin" "Checks 1" "2" "Sub Total" "Less Cash" and "Total Deposit." So, I put one of the checks on the "Checks 1" line and then I flipped over to the back to put in the other two checks. I totaled it on the back, and then put that total on the "2" line. Then I added things up, put the total in the "Sub Total" line. We weren't getting any cash back, so I then also put that total on the "Total Deposit" line. Well, my husband called and told me that the teller gave him a hard time, because I filled out the deposit slip wrong. I should have put 2 of the checks on the "Checks 1" and "2" lines and put the third check on the "Sub Total" line. In other words, the "Sub Total" line is the line to put the total from the back of the deposit slip. I think that the subtotal line is where you put the total of all the cash and checks you are depositing. Who's right?

If you discovered ore deposit containing copper, what other elements might you also expect to find and why?

If you discovered ore deposit containing copper, the other elements you may also expect to find are sulpher and oxygen. Copper can be found as native copper in mineral form. Minerals such as the sulfides: chalcopyrite (CuFeS2), bornite (Cu5FeS4), covellite (CuS), chalcocite (Cu2S) are sources of copper, as are the carbonates: azurite (Cu3(CO3)2(OH)2) and malachite (Cu2CO3(OH)2) and the oxide: cuprite (Cu2O). The reason to have these elements in the copper ore is that the ore must be in a very stable solid form, such that the solubility is extremely small. Indeed, the Ksp values of copper compounds are:
Ksp for CuS: 6x10^-37,
Ksp for Cu(OH)2: 4.8x10^-20
Ksp for CuCO3: 2.3x10^-10

A man deposits 5000 cedis in a savings account that pays compound interest at a rate of 4.5% for the first two years and at the rate of 5% for the next three years. What is his amount after five years?

Formula for Compound Interest: I = P(1+r/n)^nt where, P is the initial principal amount,n is no. of times amount is compounded, for instance if amount is compounded quarterly, then n=4.t is the time in years.& r is interest rate.Here, P=5000, r= 4.5%, n=1 and t=2.therefore, I (after 2 yrs)= 5000(1+4.5/100)^2 = 5460.125Now, P=5460.125, r=5%, n=1 and t=3Therefore, I (after 3 yrs)= 5460.125(1+5/100)^3 = 6320.777 =6321 cedis(approx).
