Depressed What Should I Do

I am very depressed. What should I do?

First things first. Dont do anything stupid.Why?  Because it wont help you in anyway. The situation you are facing now is what almost every plus 2 student goes through. But they are still going on. Aren't they? As for your 'love' life, its not love! I dont know what that feeling is called but i can assure you that its anything else but love. And i'm saying this out of experience. Even if you do find 'love', then what? You are just going to waste your time chatting or texting him. Of course you are gonna feel good. But thats just temporary. By the time you realise it, your two years up and you will have achieved nothing. And there is high chance that your 'love' life too has run its course. So now, you are not all prepared for your boards and entrance exams. Plus you have a broken heart to tend to. Whats gonna kill you more is that deep down you always knew what you could have done to avoid it but you didnt. Ultimately you ll start having crazy(stupid) ideas. So what must you do? Start DREAMING. Dream about where you want to see yourself 8-10 years from now. Start planning about how you are going to achieve that.  Study for your exams. Instead of wasting time on facebook, read articles and blogs as per your interests(not articles about love).  If you dont have people to talk to when you are down, go to the most secluded corner of your house and talk to your self. Trust me, it helps. Most importantly , keep your mind busy. I came across the following line when i was down - " you do whats right,let the pieces fall where they fall ". Good luck

I'm depressed, what should I do?

A few thoughts.
Talk to a counselor at your school.
Although they might talk to your parents, they might take your counselor more seriously.

It is NOT completely uncommon to have certain thoughts of "gosh I wish my life would end". It's when you truly mean it, that it can be dangerous.

Life IS worth LIVING. And in a moment of depression, you could lose your life, and although you are gone, you have now left the impact of your depression on your family and friends. They will never understand, whether you work it out or give up on life.

You HAVE to work to find your happiness.


You are not the only one to feel like this.
Many times there are underlying factors.
IF you are having trouble at home, or there is trouble at home. Or maybe a relationship didn't go the way you expected.

Life deals up a lot of "tests", and you have to learn to accept the negative things.

There will also be positive things in your life.. Give it time and don't give up.

I'm 20, confused, and feel very depressed. What should I do with my life?

Below are the points to kill depression and anxiety at zero level.1- You are a good human being and always be like that..Don't change yourself just because what other think....2- Go into the logic and than believe ..Means don't believe in anything just because it was happening in past.3-And nothing is bad in this world only your your thinking makes that good or Bad4- Try to build confidence so start this slowly.5- Don't be hesitate too much ..Do open talk and discuss than only you will come to resolution.6- And most important ..You must have someone your life with whom you can discuss anything worst to worst or bad to bad.7- To take advice from multiple people is dangerous... Always take the advise from the person who is more intelligent than you and much experienced8- Explore many things so that you will indentify you passion..9- Passion means something which you can do 24 hours without eat , without money but not feel tired.10. Don't judge people in short time spend valuable time than decide.11. I am fully depressed in my life. What should I do?

In no particular order:1) Cancel useless people from your life. Stop interacting unless very important. Expect nothing from even your closed ones. (Expectation is natural and difficult to stop, but it needs to be stopped as it is a major part of the problem)2) Use your talking efficiently. Talk less, talk wise. Stop interacting through messages/social media/apps. Use WhatsApp very less.3) Stick to something you love doing. Work on that and try making a career in that.— If you are doing a job or are in a career you don’t love, make arrangements to get out. Make sure you have a source of employment before you do that.4) Start doing yoga and meditation 20–30 minutes a day or two. Try to make a routine.5) In personal life, stop doing things which you think you will fail at or have been failing at. For example, trying to have a girlfriend or close friends.— If you are in a depressive relationship, fix it or end it gently. If stress is there in your friendship, end it.6) Take good advantage of internet. Make a routine of watching at least one movie every 1–2 days. Find out which websites are good to visit regularly for your interests. Watch comedy on YouTube in free time. Start your YT Channel or a blog. Spend good time on these things.7) Cut on smoking, drinking and stuff. I suggest you completely stop all that. Leave any groups where smoking/drinking is encouraged.8) Embrace rejection. I do that, many people do that. World won’t end no matter how many times you are rejected. Remember Jack Ma.Whenever you do anything, tell yourself that you need a good sleep at night. Job making me depressed what should I do? Quit?

I'm 21 years old working in a supermarket, and I hate it so much the pay is shit the job is boring and I never get enough hours. I've been there for two years now and am really fed up with it, im 21 and wasting my life away, just thinking about going to work makes me depressed to the point where I don't wanna live anymore. My ex and his new gf work there which makes things 10x worse. I really wish I could quit but I need money to pay the rent and help out my mum.

I know there are people worser off then me and I am grateful for my job its just I feel like I'm wasting my time doing a shit job for shit pay and doing nothing with my life. It feels like everybody else has their shit together except for me. What would u do if u were me? Would you quit?
