Are there actresses that were stunningly beautiful but did not achieve the Hollywood fame once expected of them?

Over the many years and thousands of films I've seen, I could probably come up with a great many that would fit this description. For the moment, I’ll mention three I can think of off the top of my head that I thought were certainly going to be big stars, but, alas, no.Jenny Agutter: (born 20 December 1952)Jenny moved to Hollywood at 21 and appeared in a number of films over the next decade, including The Eagle Has Landed (1976), Logan’s Run (1976), Equus (1977, for which she won a BAFTA as Best Supporting Actress), Sweet William (1980) and An American Werewolf In London (1981). Since then, she’s worked mostly in British Television and occasional small supporting roles in film.Nastassja Kinski: (born 24 January 1961)Daughter of actor Klaus Kinski, she’s worked in over 60 films in her career, but for brief period from 1979 to 1984, she was considered one of the sexiest women alive and her work came to global prominence with her Golden Globe Award-winning performance as the title character in the Roman Polanski directed film Tess (1979). Other notable films in which she acted include the erotic horror Cat People (1982) and Wim Wenders drama Paris, Texas (1984). Since then she’s appeared in many more films, but hasn’t had the starpower I would have expected from her debut.Sean Young: (born November 20, 1959)She is best known for her performances in the films Stripes (1981), Blade Runner (1982), Dune (1984), No Way Out (1987), Wall Street (1987), Cousins (1989) and Ace Ventura: Pet Detective (1994). Her frequent clashes with film directors and odd behavior on and off the set (many think due to substance abuse issues over the years) have plagued what was a meteoric rise after Blade Runner that has been less than stellar since. She is still working in film and television.

What movie did Nicolas Cage appear in that people might not remember him being in?

Rumble Fish was Nicolas Cage’s first credited role (he previously appeared also in Fast Times at Ridgemont High without a speaking part). This production credited him as Nicolas Coppola (he’s the nephew of director Francis Ford Coppola). Rumble Fish is a superb film that also stars Matt Dillon, Mickey Rourke, Laurence Fishburne, Dennis Hopper, Tom Waits, Chris Penn and Diane Lane.
