Did U Drink In The Uni Be4 Get In For The Finals

Is it ok to drink 3 red bulls in 10 hours?

I have been pulling an all nighter. I attend a university and I have to get three papers done and study for a final by 5. I am also prescribed Ritalin, and so i have been taking my Ritalin while drinking red bulls, they are only the 8.4 fl oz ones, which contain 80mg of caffeine and only 27g of sugar. I also smoke cigarettes and usually have one almost every hour or so...not usually but since I am stressed I have only been smoking alot since last night. Basically only a few hours ago for me since I havnt slept yet....Just wondering about it.. I know it cant be good, but is there a significant chance that I will have a heart attack and die? Im 20 years old and im 5'9 and weigh 165.

I might have jury duty on my final exam in university, what do i do?

Most likely, you'll be dismissed. Most people are.

Also, you have a pretty good excuse as to why you can't serve. If you have to show up for jury duty, the judge will ask the room if anyone has an excuse as to why they can't serve, and so be ready to explain your situation.

The judge may ask you a lot of questions about your studies and class schedule, so be ready to tell him or her all the details.

I've been to jury duty many times, and people who have big classes or exams coming up have always been dismissed on account of the jury duty interfering with their exams.

Unless you can postpone your jury duty, I wouldn't worry too much about it. I don't think you need to call your university. You could call the county clerk's office and explain your situation. It's up to the judge whose courtroom you're assigned to decide whether to dismiss you, but the county clerk people can reschedule your jury duty.

Good luck, I hope I helped.

Are there any students in Harvard's final clubs that don't drink?

I doubt that any of the final clubs drink. The members…That’s another story.

How do you relax after university finals?

You’re sure to be on edge even after all the stressful examinations come to an end. You’re anticipating your results and nervousness is in the air. Try your best to forget about it all for a while. Drink a nice cup of green tea and get a good night’s sleep. Hang out with your friends or take a nice, relaxing vacation to get your mind off the stress.

If you were in the hospital from a car accident during finals week at college, what would happen?

She or her parents would need to contact the university and let them know what happened. Then they'd need to decide what the best course of action would be. To do that, they'd also need to speak directly to her professors.

In some cases, the prof would give her an incomplete for her grade. She'd then be given a certain number of weeks to finish up the work. If she did so, she'd get a grade for the class. If she didn't take the final, her grade would be converted to an F.

If it's not realistic for her to be able to complete that work with the 4-8 weeks that are the standard "finish up incomplete work" time period, then her parents would need to talk to the uni about her getting a medical withdrawal. She'd get Ws in all her classes, and there could be financial aid repercussions to this. But she'd be able to retake the classes the next term.

Her final option is to get Fs in her finals, and get the grades she gets for the classes.

But no, in general, she wouldn't just get to skip her finals. There could be an individual professor who, when she tells them what happened, would let her skip the final, but in general, she'd need to plan on taking them.

How long does it take to get finals grade in college?

It depends upon the school's policy and how fast the professor works. It is possible for you to get your final grade that quickly, but I wouldn't count on it. Particularly if the exam was complex, it will take some time for the professor to grade them. At that point, the professor needs to look at all of your grades for the semester, consider things like class participation, etc., and decide for each student what the final grade will be. The professor then has to submit the final grade, typically (although not always) by electronically submitting them to the college computer.

So yes, it's possible to get them that fast (particularly if the professor is working against a tight deadline), but it's far from certain.

How can I lower my stress level while studying for finals?

My method of studying (and I was in college in the 60's was to take very good notes in class, do underlying in the books if that is possible, and re-write things as I learned better from the written word than any other way. This was WAY before computers, though.

Use whatever system works best for you. Are you a crammer, learning a lot in an intense, short period of time? If so, set aside X number of hours and close yourself off and cram. Peferable to do only one subject at a time. More focused.

Are you a hearing learner? Put as much as you can on oral so you can listen and learn, over and over if you have to.

Are you a tactile learner (by touch)? If so, write out questions, answers, notes, important reminders, etc. Then answer your questions by writing.

My suggestion is not to study to the distraction of all else. It seems to "cram" the mind with too much information, your brain goes on overload, and you shut down and can hardly remember your own name, let alone much else. Take breaks like the other people said. The powerball is a great idea too. When you break, get completely out of the studying atmosphere. Do anything else, to refresh and recharge your brain.

Do you do better with a study partner. If so, use one. If not, that's okay to. I do recommend studying in a place that is quiet and lets you concentrate. NOT IN FRONT OF TV. Not at the kitchen table.

And I am curious why you said "NOT STUDYING IS NOT AN OPTION"

How do the final clubs choose who will be punched?

A2A. Basically current Final Club members nominate people they like to hang out with:Arvin Chang's answer to What is required of you to be accepted into each of the Harvard final clubs?

Is it advisable to drink a Red Bull or caffeinated drink before an exam? Will it make your brain awesome and get you better grades?

First time I drank red bull my brain CANNOT turn off, and i drank only ONE gulp that time! I was staying up for a brief study and didn’t expect that One gulp could keep me up until the next day.I realize i need booster in school for not having slept at all the previous night so i drank some more. Yes, redbull keeps your brain awake and helps you think despite exhaustion but really, there’s something foggy in my eyes and i feel dead.Different people can have different experience when drinking redbull for the first time.I started drinking redbull again nights before my mid-year assessment and it does keep one awake especially when you’re marathoning a LOT of last-minute subjects. I do notice how my brain tend to think about so many other things WHILE studying, as if my brain is over-activated, and it can be quiet a distraction.I don’t deny the use of redbull. I gained a lot of advantage from it like extra hours of studies and etc. Be reminded though that do that ONLY when it is VERY needed. My classmates had a months worth of headstart in exam preparation because I spent my time training for various fitness-related activities while they’re studying, had only 7 days left after all my physically demanding activities to prepare for mental tests, shiz. Also, the body might get adapted to the redbull that the next time you drink it, the effect wont be as strong anymore. It is NOT ADVISABLE to drink it on a regular basis!Logically I’d think of redbull as something that keeps your brain from shutting down. Redbull does not give you extra ability to think creative or miraculously help you solve math problems. It does not help you memorize or understand things easier. “It only prevent your brain from shutting down” so use it when you need to stay refreshed and awake in an exam and not rely on it to ace papers in flying colours.

Will my professors let me take my final a week early?

I would check your university's policies on attendence and final examinations prior to making any reservations. If the overall university policies conflict, you will not be likely to take them early. However, in my own experiences, professors themselves are usually kind enough to work with students. If the university policy doesn't strictly prohibit it, check with your professors next. The only problem I would see you encountering here is if they refuse to create multiple exams and refuse to allow you to take the exam at a separate time from everyone else if it is the same exam. If both these conditions happen, they probably will not let you. However, I have rescheduled several exams in the past with no problems.

Whatever happens, enjoy your honeymoon!
