Difference Between An Anxiety Disorder And Being High Strung

If a person had had generalized anxiety disorder (GAD) since he/she was a very young child, how would they even know they had GAD? Wouldn't it have become "normal" for them?

If you have anxiety, you're likely aware of it - from reading, talking to people, sharing experiences.More than anything, having significant anxiety raises your baseline of what's normal in terms of stress. It doesn't necessarily make it easier, or diminish the physical effects - you're just more aware you have it. That awareness can both help and hinder you. It helps if you find coping mechanisms that you can call upon when you recognize the onset of symptoms. It hinders you because it - to a degree - normalizes something that has severe physiological ramifications if not dealt with properly.I'm used to being "high strung". I'm an entrepreneur, and I get it from my father who's also an entrepreneur. I have decided not to take medication (for various personal reasons). The thing I've learned is that - I will never not have anxiety. But I have learned to deal with it better as I get older (I'm 35, married, no children). I understand the triggers, symptoms, and things that help alleviate it. For me, I utilize therapy, exercise, acupuncture, nutritional diet, talking with husband, family and friends - things that make me feel not alone in my anxiety while helping from a physiological standpoint.Anxiety is triggered by different things and presents itself differently in everyone. You are unique and so are your coping/treatment requirements. Self care is critical. Pay attention to what your body, mind and emotions are telling you. Most of all - remember that you are not the only one, and you are not alone.

What is the cause of anxiety disorder and somatic symptom disorder, and what is the cure?

Shortage of serotonin in brain disrupts: control, detection and order circuits of brain that causes : general fatigue, lack of energy, stress, depression, anxiety, nervousness loss of concentration, etc.Shortage of serotonin in vital organs causes somatic disorders as: dry skin, joint pain, headache, cramp, stiffness, arthrosis, arthritis, sciatic, hearing loss, etc.98% of serotonin is made from Magnesium,Shortage of Magnesium is the mother of all kind of disorders and diseases.Brain circuits conductivity is provided from magnesium.Without magnesium, the other minerals and vitamins can not absorbed from natural food.Magnesium can be diluted and mixed with all substances because of it’s high admittance (conductivity), that’s why the pharmaceutical magnesium, and supplement magnesium become counterproductive.Magnesium should be taken from natural food rich on magnesium. The richest natural food on magnesium that contains the best protocol for magnesium and other minerals and vitamins and fat acids is dairy products that should be activated and polarized by an enzyme, the enzyme for dairy is made from a mineral combination. The reason why the Pharmaceutical trust and medical field and doctors are the enemies of the milk and milk products is this reality of healing power of dairy products. The new born babies are the most fragile and sensitive, that’s why they are fed by milk, but the liver of the baby generates an enzyme that activates and polarizes milk’s ingredients, when we get older, some people’s liver do not generate that special enzyme, that’s why we have to add an enzyme to dairy products to polarize and activate them. For more details, refer to ResearchGate.

Help! Am I bipolar or just high-strung?

Jamie do you have mental health insurance? If so, I would make an appointment with a licensed Psychologist. They are very helpful, good at listening and will determine if you are bipolar. Life can be difficult and cruel at times and stress is inevitable. Clonopin is good for reducing anxiety if that is the problem. I don't know you but perhaps there are underlying issues that are causing the behavior. If you don't have health insurance, call your local Human Services division and they will set up an appointment for you with a therapist free of charge or at a reduced cost. Life is too short to have to live like that. Take a deep breath, find something you enjoy doing, start journaling your thoughts daily or when you are in a mood. Trust me it helps. You need an outlet but a healthy one. Reach out for help, you'll be amazed at how kind people are and willing to help you. Try to be positive and things will turn around for you. Stay away from people that are negative and toxic. I wish you all the best sweetie.

My anxiety/panic gets worse during my period?

Hi :) i have an anxiety disorder and my panic attacks and feelings of fear always escalate when i have my period. This is due i think to hormonal change in the body which makes our emotions differ and in saying this makes us feel more flighty and high strung. I feel particularly panicky when i go to public places during my time of the month.
It really sucks, but im glad i have someone to relate too.
